While I agree this has been a lackluster season, we must remember that the game always changes as fewer players remain and reasons to nominate each other are discovered or fabricated. BB10 (my favorite of all seasons in terms of entertainment value) could almost be split in two in the before and after JH eliminations. Even BB11, which had some very volatile personalities to begin with, changed dynamics a couple of times.
I don't see this season as one with great players (instant showmances and alliances, isolating themselves in catty cliques etc all show very poor gameplay) but they are overall more grounded than previous seasons. If someone like Brendon or Rachel are eliminated the next two weeks, and then America votes them back, a lot of the passivity may fly out the window faster than Chima can throw a mic to the pool.
