Britney has one of the best games going in this house right now. She knows what she is doing. I don't think the lane thing is going to cause her any problems. Like you said, these house guests won't catch on that easily.
I think when it comes to HOH, Britney is going to go into the comps trying to win HOH. She knows she has to prevent Rachel and Brendon from winning in the upcoming weeks. I think if there is a situation mid competition where both Brendon and Rachel (well just Brendon this week) are out of the comp, then and only then will she throw it. She knows her duty in HOH is to prevent Brenchel from winning and if that means she actually has to try to win HOH, put them up, and lose 2 jury votes, she will do it.
