Rachel & Jeff were on the block and Jeff won the POV. Worried about a replacement nom and realizing that Jeff & Jordan still needed Rachel in the game a bit longer, Shelly went on a mission. She needed to make sure that she, Jordan or Adam were not up as replacements and that Rachel stays. The only other re-nom possibilities were Porsche, Dani and Lawon. Knowing that Kalia would never put up Dani, Shelly thought it would be easier for her to talk Kalia into putting up Porsche (a bonus for Shelly because she wasn’t that fond of Porsche anyway). Shelly used the fact that Porsche and Dani were getting closer and posed a threat to her alliance with Dani. She sat quite a long time reminding her that everyone thought Kalia’s HoH was actually Dani’s and of the twist and someone coming back, etc. she needed to make her own moves! It worked! Kalia was convinced that Porsche would be the best re-nom candidate!
Running it by Dani, who by now really liked Porsche, hated the idea and they went back and forth until suddenly Lawon got an idea that he would go up! Yowza! Had Lawon not volunteered, I do believe Porsche would have been the one on the block. BUT the fact still remains, Shelly’s plan worked. She, Adam and Jordan were safe and Rachel was safe as well. Mission accomplished. However, in the episode, it made it look like Rachel making a deal with Kalia is what changed her mind and it showed Lawon offering to go up and out! Kalia and Dani were ecstatic! Even Dani said ‘and if he doesn’t come back – Whoopsie!’
Needless to say, Shelly received NO credit. There was even a classic BB moment that hit the editing room floor! After Shelly had convinced Kalia to put up Porsche, Shelly went to the BY couch’s and was smoking and drinking some coffee. She looked to the camera, raised her cup and said ‘My work here is done’. She grinned and started giggling. It was PERFECT! I am so disappointed it didn’t make the show!
Youtube Episode 17 part 1. So now, Brendon is back in the house. Shelly and Adam were part of the celebration and it wasn’t lost on Dani. Dani tells Kalia that Shelly is cut. She says she has a plan that will have them all crapping their pants, even Shelly. Rachel & Brendon were alone in the purple room and Rachel tells Brendon that she overheard Jordan and Shelly talking about F3 together. In his DR Brendon says, ‘Supposedly, Jeff and Jordan has made a deal with Shelly for F3. I’m back in the house and I am definitely not going to allow Shelly to wedge herself between my alliance.’ Later, Rachel tells Brendon that Dani will make a deal with them and they can get her to put up Shelly. Obviously Rachel and Brendon are threatened by Shelly and her place in the alliance. They are on a mission to get her out of the way to insure their own place. Later, Shelly goes up to the HoH. Shelly asks if Dani is upset with her. Dani tells her that she was in on the celebration and Shelly says ‘well, I can’t sit there and be in his face brutal.’ In Shelly’s DR on this matter (youtube, Episode 17, part 3 @ 3 min, 13 sec) ‘Obviously Dani and Kalis have a problem with me. It’s written all over their faces. I have to fix it and I have to fix it fast.’
Now a whole big thing happens between Shelly, Kalia and Porsche. Shelly heard Kalia and Porsche talking about her and she called them out. First she had it out with Kalia and they ended on a strained but OK note. Then she had it out with Porsche. Out of this, Shelly learns that Rachel told Porsche that she (Shelly) tried to make an F3 deal with her and Brendon. Shelly was upset. Youtube, same episode, part 3 @ 6 min 51 sec. In her DR, Shelly said ‘I absolutely don’t have a final three deal with Brendon and Rachel. I am absolutely furious that Rachel would blatantly lie. I have done absolutely nothing to her in this house to deserve it.’ Anyhoo, this F3 lie is where Shelly’s hatred of Rachel begins. It’s war.
Rachel and Brendon approach Dani with a deal. They tell Dani she should put up Shelly. She tells Dani that Shelly thinks she has a final 3 deal with Jeff & Jordan. Youtube Episode 17 part 4 @ 1 min 51 sec. Just before the nomination ceremony, Shelly tells Jeff & Jordan that she found out where the info is being leaked back and forth… Rachel! Dani made a deal with Rachel and Brendon not to nominate them and put Shelly and Adam on the block. I think Dani wanted to BD Brendon but just in case Brendon won the POV, she could say that she kept her end of the deal. In the event that Brendon did win the POV, Shelly was going to go home.
Youtube Episode 18 part 1 @ 3 min 33 sec: Shelly says in her DR ‘The fact that I’m on the block right now is the least of my worries. I am so angry at Rachel and the betrayal and the lies that almost can’t even see straight.’ Shelly goes up to the HoH to talk to Dani. Dani tells her that her target is Brendon. Shelly tells her about the lie. This is where the ‘Would you consider taking me to the F3?’ comes into play. (It was taken out of context.) Dani tells Shelly that Rachel has been lying the whole game and Shelly said she was obviously not aware how bad it was and she needs them both up and out. She said ‘I am done with them!’
Later that day… Flashback Aug 12 7:14pm Cams 3 & 4. It was just after the nom ceremony? It was trivia right before this meeting. I don’t know everything that was said, we only got a snippet on the show about Shelly telling Jeff & Jordan where the information was getting back and forth and how Shelly told Jordan that Rachel was up throwing everyone under the bus, etc. (We all know how Rachel throws everyone under the bus. This is not a surprise.) Anyhoo, The jest of this convo was that Shelly wanted to call Rachel out on the F3 deal she told Porsche that Shelly wanted. At first Rachel denied it until Porsche said it again in front of Rachel. Then Rachel lied and said Shelly wanted a F3 deal and we didn’t trust her so we said NO. (lie) She said that Shelly wanted to get Jeff out (lie) she said that Shelly said ‘If I voted out Jordan’ (another lie). Rachel was lying all over the place in that meeting. Shelly did not lie. She did ask the hypothetical question ‘Would you consider taking me to the F3’ but everything else was a lie that Rachel told. Rachel further said everything is coming from Shelly, when in fact; most of it was coming from Rachel.
When Shelly was in the DR and said she never made a F3 deal with Rachel & Brendon and she never said she would vote Jordan out, Shelly was not lying! Shelly was mortified. We all know that Shelly was loyal to Jeff and Jordan and she was very serious about her friendship and alliance with them. Shelly was broken. She was at the end of her rope. We all know that Rachel was on a mission to get Shelly evicted. Shelly knew too much for one thing and Shelly was threatening Rachel and Brendan’s place in the alliance.
