Let's face it, the newbie alliance was over within days of it's inception, and by week two, virtually every newbie remaining either was somehow aligned with the vets or wanted to be. That's what I found fascinating about this season... it showed how good strategy is more important than the initial numbers of the "sides", and it was great to watch the vets playing the newbies like a fiddle. I wanted the see the vets systematically take out most or all of the newbies (with the help of the newbies themselves... example: Kalia... as they cowered at the thought of being the first to go after any vet), and then see how the vets fared as they then had to fight it out among themselves and at most a couple of suviving newbies. Unfortunately, Dani blew that well oiled machine up with her ill timed and poorly thought out attempt to make a move, which reduced the game to the all too familiar big targets going after each other, while the floaters keep on floating.
In other words... BB13 was shaping up to be something interesting and different than what we typically see every season, until Dani's bad move turned it back into a game where floaters got a free ride.
