The Friendship is a loser's clique. Individually they are annoying and crass and devoid of charm. They know--or at least sense on some level that they're unaware of--that they can not compete with the charisma of Janelle (especially her), Howie, and Kaysar. Knowing--or sensing--this, they're forced to assert their superiority in other areas. They're constantly reaffirming to each other their own moral worth and how the other side compares unfavorably. It's all an attempt to create a positive sense of self-worth.
The AC awards have made it clear that the viewers favor the other side. In the mind of the Friendship there are only two explanations: 1)BB is editing the show in the other sides favor 2)The viewers care more about charisma than character.
They will continue with their positive self-affirmations because the only alternative would be to admit that the other side is both more charismatic and equal in moral character--and that would be a devastating blow to one's ego.
