Forget Final 2, what strategy could Janelle employ to win the whole thing? Is there one? Does it involve keeping James?

I know the whole house seems to be infected with Janellousy right now and she's never going to completely win anyone over, but seeing her now at least humoring James' pleas for her vote I am seeing how much she wants to win this game and wondering what sort of path toward victory she could carve out.

First of all there's the Howie-James decision this week. As much as I love Howie and find him entertaining, he's a big dumb animal and not that great of an ally right now. What I would like to happen is for Janelle to vote for James and tell both Howie and James that she is doing it. Janelle will tell James that she is voting for him to stay and if James is able to get Ivette and Beau to go along with it, Janie will have the stronger ally in the house and while April and Maggie will be pissed at Janelle, they'll be even more pissed at their allies Ivette and Beau. Plus she really would only be accountable for that vote this week to Maggie because April won't even have the opportunity to play for HOH. Even if James isn't able to get Ivette and Beau to vote to keep him, that vote of Janelle's will secure James' vote for her at the end of the game and it will cause the Friendship to question each other a lot because they will think that Beau was the second vote to keep James if Janelle can sell it well enough. Janelle will tell Howie she is voting for James as a sympathy vote and as strategy just to make it look like Beau voted to keep James as well to create friction between the Friendship and the heat off of the two of them. If by some miracle, James gets the two other votes he needs to stay in the game Janelle is to act shocked and pissed when Howie is voted off and curse out Beau and Ivette for going back on their word and voting to keep him. She is to cry and say I'm so sorry Howie I just gave him a sympathy vote since he saved me last week and I had NO IDEA Beau and Ivette were voting to keep him too... whatever it takes in that last minute to keep James in the house but not lose Howie and Rachel's jury votes. And if Howie stays nothing is lost from Janelle throwing James a vote. Even if the Friendship don't believe Janelle if she tries to make them think that Beau was the mysterious vote for James nothing is really lost because they all hate her already anyway.

So let's say Howie stays and James goes home this week, since that's the most likely scenario because I don't think James can turn Beau to vote for him. Janelle will still have her alliance with Howie and can form a secret individual alliance with April (or Maggie or both if Maggie wins HOH) to help Maggie-April get back at Ivette and Beau for their betrayal of the friendship in voting to keep James. Janelle will talk to them without Howie present to point out how she's just there to win the $50,000 at this point and let them know that as the house's enemy #1 she's a good person to take to the end because you're more likely to win the $500,000 against her. Meanwhile, Janelle will use Howie to talk to Beau (or James if he is kept to talk to Ivette) to try and finesse that side to target April first instead of the S2.

Of course if Janelle or Howie/James gets HOH next week their number one target is Beau. The next would be Maggie if they were to claim back-to-back HOHs.

Beyond that for Janelle with so many variables it's just important that she stays alive and if she plays it right by doing what she can to encourage Maggie-April and Ivette-Beau to do a little backstabbing of each other in the friendship she could win against April by getting the votes of Rachel-Howie-James-Beau if she or Howie is able to stir up enough sh!t to make it look like April betrayed Ivette-Beau.

By the same token she could win against Ivette by getting the votes of Rachel-Howie-April-Maggie/Jen if she is able to stir up enough sh!t to make it look like Ivette betrayed April-Maggie.

And if Janelle makes it to the final two against James I think she would have the votes of Rachel-Howie-April-Maggie/Beau.

I still can't envision any scenario though that she would win against Maggie, Beau or Howie.

What do you guys think?

xx * I think Janelle should she say she will vote Howie out, and hopefully Ivette and Beau believe this, so they vote James and there is a tie
