While I would argue the person playing the best game in the house thus far is actually Booger as no one views him as a threat at the same time he is working all the HGs hardcore and could win HOHs, I think Janelle is playing about the best possible game she could at this point.
Yes winning HOH the first week and getting the veto puts a target on her back. But everyone saw BB6 and it was fresh in their minds so they wouldn't buy her dumb blonde/under the radar act anyway and she was already a target because of her popularity and her appearance and personality. By winning comps early at the same time she is a honest, loyal player she is showing herself as a strong female ally to all the men in the house and the only guy in the house who would potentially push for her eviction at this point is George.
I do wonder if Janelle is why BB stacked the house with more men, but regardless of why they did that I marvel at how Janey is working them.
She has positioned herself as the best/strongest ally to James and Howie and Kaysar and she has worked something out with Marc too it appears. Her getting Jase partnered with her for HOH is also like the best possible thing that could happen because they have formed a friendship and at least an alliance for this week *AND* Jase's biggest threats (Diane and Nakomis) are also Janelle's biggest threats.
As for the rest of the house, I think she is dumb to see Erika and Chicken George as bigger threats to her than Diane but I like that she's at least tried to engage Nakomis and Boogie. Will and Danielle are threats but they are threats to everyone and would want to keep Janelle in the game as long as possible to have another big target around that keeps the focus off them.
Even though some people are complaining about her hiding out in HOH too much I think it's good because she is not getting into stupid fights with anyone and that is her way of being forgotten about but at the same time she has at least five people feeding her information at all times. She also can't piss off the other women if she is hiding up in HOH.
I love that she is being the same bad@ss Janey we grew to love, even if I wish she practiced for HOH comps less and played the other HGs more.
LOL as I say this Will/Booger/Jase are all discussing how they're on to Janelle's dumb act. But they're all complementary of her skill in the veto comp and in awe of her ability. Jase is saying she's the biggest bad@ss to ever play this game.
