After watching the episode last night, I wonder if Jase is more than a little self-delusional. In his first BB, there was an obvious mismatch between his ability and ego. This year, he is obviously taking a lower-key approach and playing a better game; but for the life of me, I can't figure out why in the world he thinks he is the one in control of this house (riding the bull was hilarious for the exact opposite reason he thought it was funny).
Jase has no power base. The only ally he has in the BB6 alliance is Janelle, and that is only so she can use him if necessary. Will and Boogie are not loyal to him and would sell him down the river at any time it was to their benefit. Diane or Nakomis will almost certainly be gone this week -leaving only one to work with him. Erica and Marcellus are not aligned with him, and George isn't the kind of player to align himself with one person that isn't a master.
Jase goes only so far as Janelle takes him. As long as he stays quiet and acts like a floater, she'll keep him around. If he steps up, he will become the primary target because he will be portrayed as betraying the BB6 alliance.
Jase ain't the smartest tool in the shed. He thinks he's the person driving the hammer into the nail into the wood, when he's not even the hammer or the nail - he's the wood.
