I was on the board of our condo and had all the laws concerning beaches. All beaches in Puerto Rico are public. Even if they say private they are not. Every hotel,condo or private owner needs to give access to the public. Most have a walkway on the side of the property. The Conquistador Hotel had a little island near the resort that they thought was their private beach, cause it was part of their resort, but the gov. fined them and they had to make the beach public and not nude. Vieques and Culebra are 2 islands off the bigger Island of Puerto Rico, but still PR... same laws same country. I just don't understand how they did it without getting into trouble.... unless the producers had it scripted and asked for filming rights like in a movie, with private guards to stop access while filming.
