If Chris "was not there for the right reasons"..... 05/05/15 08:07 PM

As a romantic and a fan of the show, I'm naturally disappointed - in spite of the show's dismal track record, and.....
Sean, the only "Bachelor" so far to marry, did give us fans hope - and those "Bachelorettes" who tied the knot too.
Chris Soules seemed like the real deal, and I hope he was. He seemed modest and unassuming, even shy at times, and seemed honest and sincere - really wanting to find the right partner who would love Chris, settle down on the farm with him as a farmer's wife, and have a family with him.
Since consenting to appear on "Dancing with the Stars", Chris may have been seduced by fame and wanting to be famous.
He may have had those goals all along - but I hope not!
New reports - gossip - have surfaced today that Chris is having an affair with his dance partner, Witney, and that that is why Whitney broke off the engagement and went back to Chicago. This all may just be gossip though.....We'll have to wait and see how it all plays out.
But IMO, the worst thing to happen to a newly engaged couple from "The Bachelor" or "The Bachelorette" is for the lead immediately to go on "Dancing with the Stars".
That - and staying in la la land (with its nice, sunny climate) is likely to break up the budding relationship. The new couple hasn't had a whole lot of time to get to know each other - then to be thrust into Hollywood and a "hot" dancing partner, all that rehearsal time.....not good at all for the engaged couple.
Marti :-)
