It’s the final singleton countdown!
Wedding season is in full swing in Bachelor Nation — even if neither of the active “official" Bachelor or Bachelorette couples has set a wedding date. (Ahem, Ashley Hebert & JP Rosenbaum and Ben Flajnik & Courtney Robertson.)
Whatever. There are plenty of success stories outside the official couples, including Chris Lambton of The Bachelorette Season 6 and Peyton Wright of The Bachelor Season 10 and Bachelor Pad Season 1. The golden couple is getting married this Saturday, May 5 at Wild Dunes resort in South Carolina. Read Peyton’s blog on how they chose that location, even though they will be living in Cape Cod, where Chris is from.
Their nuptials are timed right before the debut of his — but really their — new show, Going Yard, which starts May 12 on HGTV. Eagle-eyed Lambton fans may have also spotted Chris on April 24 on HGTV’s The White Room Challenge.
The pair just has a lot going on right now. And it’s all good. As Peyton tweeted on Saturday, April 21: "In 2 weeks I get to marry the greatest man I know and my best friend @ChrisLambton13. I can't wait!!!!"
Congrats! We couldn't be happier for Chris and Peyton — except if they had met after 10 weeks of dating on The Bachelor or Bachelorette. That would've been a great season. web page
