R telling C he feels more than he shows SHORT
R tries to explain to C how much he has kept inside. He uses the situation of C asking HG's if they thought R was really laid back. He tells C he was really hurt by that, yet she could only focus on the fact that afterwards he wouldn't rub her feet. He talks about how painful it was for him. C just listens and says nothing. R says "and you just lay there & don't even say gee that guy was really being honest & truthful w/me" He says that's a big deal. C is really blind to R's pain that she causes him.

Lisa and someone (possibly Jason, I had the window on minimize) seem to be in charge of preparing dinner this evening.
They moved a small table and chairs over beside the stove so that they could play cards while they kept an eye on things. Now, most of the HG (A, G, D, R) are also in the kitchen, standing around the island snacking on things and talking about TV show finale (Sopranos, Oz)

Dani isn't exactly singing, but she is humming/scat singing the theme from Sanford and Son (I think).
We have had 2 copies of two feeds for some time. Everyone has dispersed, except for Jason and Lisa. Lisa seem to be in charge and is doing OK on her own, without Dani to tell her how much water to use. Jason is riffling the cards at the little table, and Lisa has the munchies. Lisa goes to the door of the HRD to check on things there. Only Dani is in the room and Lisa joins her. All cameras follow her. Dani hates this game. Dani says, "Do you think we should let bygones be bygones? "What do you mean?" "I cant really talk about it till tomorrow" (then why bring it up now, because you aren't allowed to talk about votes?) Lisa is speaking in half sentences that Dani seems to understand. It's about someone telling someone something that reflects back on Lisa. Dani says, "that makes sense." (Marc may have told Chi something to get her off Amy's back, and it shifts the blame back to Lisa) They think things will be OK next week, then agree that they are OK for 2 weeks. Lisa leaves, and shortly thereafter, Dani follows. All cameras back to the kitchen for a brief FOTFH

The clan gathers for dinner. Amy wants a place with her back against the wall,
so that nobody can shoot at her. Marc is coming and will sit beside her. She stumbles and Lisa asks if she broke her toe. Apparently not, but she tripped over a glass someone left there, and complains about a conspiracy. I think Roddy is still in the DR. Roddy arrives and Amy complains about being kicked out of that whole side of the table (good naturedly). Amy is chosen to say a blessing. She seems caught off guard and momentarily speechless. She says that she doesn't usually do that thing. She gives an excellent grace with no pauses to think. She has al least heard that one many times before. Still, good delivery. Quiet, interspersed with eating sounds prevails. Chi says that it is nice that when there is food, they all sit down together to eat. (Not quite "God bless us, every one", but sweet)

Diner Conversation
They speculate that PB&J is coming back and it will be in a big way - the whole house. Roddy says that it will only be over the next few weeks, because they can't do it for the final 2. Someone speculates on how terrible it would be if one of the final 2 had to eat PB&J, and the other didn't. Some joking about Lori and the return bidding. Amy does a good imitation of her. They are sure that the contract signing was included in the show. Talk of how desperate for outside contact they are and Jason says that is why Sheryl Crow looked so afraid of them at first. Roddy repeats aloud the "don't trust Gerry" remark that he was saying last night. (That Sheryl whispered it to him). They all seem in good spirits, and are sharing equally with each other. The votes are in, the pressure is off. This should be a relaxed night.Now talking about phrases from their "B" role intro tapes that they made before the show.

Dani in her granny glasses, sits quietly with her hand before her face.
She seems angry or sad, (or both) and her eyes move slowly over the assembly. She looks (to me) calculating and dangerous. She participates just enough to not stand out. The fun is winding down. Roddy talks of questions he received in the interviews about how he would react to HG's who had specific characteristics. (Gay man lies on his bed, What if there was a strong Christian). He gives no answers, just the questions he was asked. Diner is over, and all troop to the sink with their dishes. Roddy strips to the waste and is apparently preparing to wash the dishes. Gerry helps at the island, and Chi is puttering around putting things away. Jason is ineffectually hanging about, but doesn't seem to be helping much (he shouldn't, he helped make it). Marc is cleaning the dining table. and Amy is making vocal noises. I can't see Dani or Lisa on the Quad. Now they have both returned, and seem to be supervising.

Gerry and Roddy in the living room playing something (probably Chess, but can't see).
Amy watches closely and Jason sits on the other side of them riffling cards (his new favourite hobby). Amy walks over the couch behind Gerry and sits beside him. 4 feeds efficiently use 2 cameras (including a brief shot of 2 on the FOTFH). Jason and Amy now playing cards. There are cleaning noises coming from the kitchen, but I can only detect Marc in the background. There seems to be no game related talk (the BB game, not the games they are currently playing). Dani is now on one feed washing dishes. I can hear someone riffling cards, but Amy and Jason both have their hands full of cards. Hmmmm Lisa is helping Dani and I still see Marc moving around the area from time to time. Now one feed has FOTFH. Now it's gone. Only Chiara seem unaccounted for. Do you miss her yet? Jason won the card game and gently gloats. Amy mildly grumbles. Apropos of nothing I can detect, Amy says, "I hate that day after the car wreck feeling." Apparently, she has a sore neck. The conversation changes to music copy write. Jason is sure that CBS has some music in their library that they could play. Sound dies and feed 1 goes to FOTFH. Chi is now visible at the dining table. It may have been her riffling the cards. Why is Chi sitting and Lisa drying dishes, when it was Lisa that cooked dinner?

Very Little Around the Feeds: (Don't expect too much, it's an in-between night)
F 1 & 2 has the same group in the living room. Marc seems to be passing through, but it's hard to tell because my video has become a slide show. F 3 & 4 has the kitchen area with Lisa and Dani appearing as themselves, alternating with ghostly images as they move and the feed can't catch up. Refreshing to see if that will kick something loose. Well, the video is clean now, but no more interesting. Amy is lecturing on who owns various pageants and she is on a real Miss America run. She is very knowledgeable and hates Miss USA (but loves Miss America). It goes on for an while and her breadth and detail of knowledge is a little disconcerting. Jason is doing his Casy Kasum (sp) imitation as if calling a sporting event or breaking news. Amy goes right on over him and the guys jump in to tweak Amy about the issue. They trash various past winners and the people they married, and Amy springs to their defence very defiantly. I presume she did not defend Miss USA winners, but I wouldn't know the difference.. The main lights have gone out for some reason, and we are left with rather nice subdued lighting.. Marc is doing his Black working man shtick about him working while the White man sits and plays games. It goes on for a while and is funny. It also gets the topic away from beauty pageants.

Even Less Around the Feeds:
Dani and Marc have joined the group at the couches, but Roddy seems to have disappeared. F 3 & 4 have become different shots of the lizard cage. Lisa and Roddy have returned, apparently from the storage room (or that direction, I know Lisa was in there). Amy was doing a mildly amusing shtick in a heavy Southern accent about white trash. This started because Gerry said that his accent was pure Okie. Amy doesn't consider them Southerners and was off on her White Trash thing. The HG's trash another of Arnold's shows (Small Town X - was that his?). This is the usual fast and boring HG conversation they have when they are all together. Amy dominates and it may be amusing at times, but it can't be captured properly, at least not by me. I will quit until something worth reporting comes along. I see the HRD on F 3 & 4, so I will go there and see how much of the Roddy and Chi crap I can stand before quitting. They seem to be speculating about their life together outside the house. Roddy lies back on the bed, Chi is curled up across the bottom. Something about an apartment in NYC and pretending they live together there. Roddy is posing hypothetical questions about what she would do in certain situations. This is important couples stuff. Roddy: Some friends are coming for diner - cook or order in? Chi: Good friends? Roddy: Very good friends. Chi: Cook Roddy: Work friends I lost interest. They have already discussed the important stuff, like where to have the washing machine, and if there should be a dishwasher, and where the apartment should be. Chi apparently has a 3rd floor walk-up. When I came in, there was something that suggested they had been discussing new apartments, and Chi was a little contemptuous of Roddy and what he expected to get in NYC for a certain amount of rent. The feed switches to the LR and Roddy is called to the DR before I can get back. As I leave you, all feeds are back in the LR, and there are actually only 2 cameras in use. However, they do seem to be switching cameras around quite a bit, depending on who is talking. So, someone is awake at BBHQ, and they are following the action closely - they just don't care about what we see.

Dani sings, "Hey there lonely girl" (no FOTFH)
Amy says, "Danielle, what part of don't sing don't you understand?" "Girl, don't you start that with me" They all laugh. All, in this case is Gerry, Amy, Dani, Jason, Marc, Lisa and Chiara. (It would have been easier to say that Roddy is still in the DR, but I didn't figure that out until I had it half typed) Gerry was giving Amy a neck massage, with her sitting on the floor between his legs. Amy is up now and Chi has taken her place (what about all that talk about filthy Gerry? - They let him put his hands on them?). Lisa is all bundled up in a blanket at the farthest end of the couch. Dani is sitting on the table and is playing cards with Jason. Marc is in one of the nomination chairs, and Gerry practices his healing art from the other. Chi is finished with her massage. I don't believe that I heard either of them say thank you, but it is noisy in there at times. Jason says I'm soo tired" Dani replies that, "You always say that, Sweetie, but you never go to bed" Jason has gone to get some water and to turn down the heat (I think he means to turn up the A/C) "Who set this at 83?" Not much reaction to that statement. (They must be too excited by the return of Roddy, I know I am) It looks like the party is breaking up. Chi and Roddy have left for bed, and others talk about it. Chi comes back to ask Lisa to borrow a sweater. Lisa says yes and is about to get up, but Chi says to stay, it is on her bed. Apparently, Chi has packed everything and wants something to sleep in. Gerry offers the information that there are sleeping bags still there. Chi declines because one of them is "the bad one" Dani questions that, and the story is that Josh did something to one of them that made it very smelly. There is some discussion about that, and Gerry and Jason recite song lyrics (no singing - does that still count? Poetry is copy written, isn't it?). There is some question of Hot Tubing it, and there is some enthusiastic response, but no one says yes or no. Amy thanks Gerry for the massage and says it really loosened up her neck. Gerry goes to bed. Only Amy, Dani, Jason and Lisa are left. WTF I switch to the Quad Feed for one last look around, and the entire household is sitting around the dining table with the lights on. Another Unsolved BB Mystery. Refresh shows us a more likely version of reality. F 1 & 2 are what we left in the LR. F 3 & 4 are Chi and Roddy with their feet in the HT. Let's go see if they have anything to say that I want to hear.

In the HT with Chi and Roddy (they are just dangling there feet).
It seems that Roddy was listing the names of his male friends, for some reason that Chi seems to understand. They seem to have glasses of wine, and they say they think it is good (how did they manage to keep that this long? Was it hidden from Amy?) There is a little talk of being happy for the rest of their time in the house, and the accomplishment of lasting this long. Roddy asks if she thought that he was "trying to stick it in her ear with that book" (his gift to her). "Oh, hell no" She seems sincere and in good humour. Roddy says that every few days he just needs to shut down and recharge, that she has to understand that. She accepts that, but isn't as appreciative of the loud fart he releases. She laughs and she reacts as if it is a bad one, but he goes on as if nothing happened. Chi talks of the whole world watching and judging their relationship, and the irrational jealousy that she has experienced when a female DR interviewer seems to know details about Roddy. (Time out for an unscheduled disconnect). They are already getting nostalgic. They are talking of the things they would have missed if they had left earlier, and the things they will remember after they leave. Chi trashes Amy for her blankie, but it passes. They have a whole bottle of wine - Chi just went to retrieve it from somewhere off camera. Out of the blue, Roddy says, (paraphrased) "I wish the cameras would be off just for a minute, so that I could tell you something. I can't even hint at it but when you hear it you will understand (Me? The way I played? The meaning of life?). He uses a reference to the Shawshank Redemption to explain what it will be like when he is able to tell her. He also says it has nothing to do with the game, or her. (don't you just love it when people set you up with things like that? Roddy is a mind teaser) Just personal chat going on, with very little likelihood for a blow-up, and no likelihood of any strategy talk, so, I will call it a night. One last pass through the feeds tells me (now you) that all cameras are on the HT and there is nothing else of even the slightest interest going on in the house. You can rest safely in that knowledge, knowing that Mr. Shapiro is looking out for your best interests. TTFN

If I had known that the reference would generate so much speculation, I would have given more detail at the time.
It is sometimes difficult to follow Roddy's obscure analogies, but he was referring to the scene where the hero finally uncovers the secret stash. I think, the message to Chiara was more one of, you will react like he did when all is revealed, when all is understood. I know, I'm starting to sound like Roddy, but that was the context, and I don't think the movie itself is actually relevant.

She is talking with Marcellas in the HoH room. She said after she talked with Dani she heard her say to Jason as he was going into the diary room 'Opposite opposite opposite.' Amy says Jason needs to go next week. She and Marcellas say they can run the show if they're plan to keep Roddy works.

A says G has something to gain because he has some kind of deal with Roddy. M says G probably doesn't want head of household. A says she thinks he does. M comments that G wants the food if he's HOH. They both laugh. M gets up to use the bathroom. M back... *Note: conversation is hard to make out.* A: I'm so happy I got back into the house. M: Me, too. The Sheryl Crow thing was awesome. A: M, how many episodes you've been on? One, two... (And she's still counting.) ...20 episodes. (she yawns)...were both guaranteed Saturday ...(still counting)...so we are both guaranteed 25. (Note: They are both yawning alot...broken sentences.) M: This is doing to be a long a** day. A: If they get my clothes to me, I'll have something to wear.

Chiara and Roddy: Suicide pact?
I haven't seen this reported. Chiara and Roddy haven't been on any of the quad cams for over an hour and a half. They were last seen sitting on the hammock. Roddy ask what Chiara would do if he wasn't here in the house. Chiara said she would first try the butter knives. And then if that didn't work she would tie all the bandanas together and points somewhere and says 'I think that could support me'. Then Roddy asked if you could be evicted for putting a knife to your own throat. Chiara said it wouldn't matter. Roddy says no one has ever done it. Chiara says she may give it a shot. Then Chiara says she may try drowning. She heard that a few seconds before you die you get a great feeling. Chiara also said she felt slighted by the producers and this was adding to her distress. (they could have been joking. ) And a little after those comments they haven't been on camera since. Cam 1 and 2 are on the Amy and Marcellas show. And the other cams are on D,L and J sleeping.

That's all I caught before Dani went into the hall. Dani returns to the HRD, and Lisa says something about Chiara. Dani says, "She figured everything out because Roddy told her. . . . " Later she says, "just in case Roddy walks out that door, so she knows" (I think she is saying that they should tell Chi something, in case she stays. It will sound better if they tell her before the vote) Lisa whispers something. Dani says, "because I told her." Lisa is still in bed.

Nice and sunny, HGs are spending the afternoon in the sun...
All HGs are outside during lockdown. M, R, C are sunbathing and L and A are in loungers playing solitaire. FOTH (all 4 feeds)... 4 minutes so far... Back... Dani is in the HRD sorting through clothes. Lisa has gone back to bed. Dani goes into the SR to get the iron and ironing board. Can see R and M are still outside sunbathing. (less than 1 minute of feeds b4 FOTH) FOTH (all 4 feeds)...2 full minutes so far...5 minutes... R,C,M still sunbathing, C shares her water with M. Roddy heads inside. D still sorting through clothes. F4 on Lizard, can hear J and R in background. J is teasing C about sunbathing for 12 hours? J is in the pool standing on the stairs and C is sitting on the edge with her feet dangling in the water. D in HRD with L. Whispering about D's conversation with C. Very hard to make out what they are saying. R sitting in hammok. C is now standing in the pool and J is walking around the edge, now he steps in again. M walking around with robe on, took it off and now is running (very effeminately) through the outside shower. J joins. They are using it like a sprinkler to cool off? Now J jumps into the HT and M joins. J commenting on how everyone was called into the DR at the same time. Teasing going on about how much M is liked out 'there'. M and C sitting in hammok. All joking around.

F 1 & 2 is Dani in the kitchen washing something.
F 3 & 4 has Roddy and Chi in the hammock. They seem excited about something going on in the yard. Occasionally, the camera shows us Marc and someone (Amy I think) in the Ht Dani goes to the bath for some personal clean up, now into HRD to whisper some more. Lisa says, "But the decision was made, how could Amy be so sure?" "Did Marc tell her?" "She's stupid! She didn't have to tell him anything." I get almost none of what Dani is saying, except as she leaves, she says something I heard but missed, plus, "Payback's a bitch." Dani goes back to the bath to fix her hair. Roddy comes in and is in a good mood. He had a good night. Roddy talks of Alaska and how warm it is in the summer and how tanned he gets from the reflection off the water as he is fishing. Roddy goes to the kitchen. Marc takes a shower in the yard, and he and Jason run through the shower stream like kids. (Ja was previously in the pool). Now Ja and Marc are in the HT.

R: of course not, what do you think I've been doing so far? C: I better not see u for another 6 weeks. R: If I went up again next week, I would cry. I better not see you for another 6 weeks. M and J jump into the pool and C joins them. Roddy wanders into kitchen starts chitchatting with Amy. She has just gotten out of the shower and asks how the wine was. R says excellent. Back outside with C telling the boys she needs natural oils to sunbathe. M is sitting on the edge of the pool. C starts dancing seductively on edge of pool. J is snapping his finers. M: back to the HT? J: ya. These 2 are apparently going from the pool to the HT to the outdoor shower and back. Now they are in the HT. J: the HGs explore their amphibious side. to him re:Josh vote. He said it was okay because he was going to vote that way anyway. But this week he didn't know what he was going to do. So C asked him right out "Well, did you do what I asked?" (I knew right away she was referring to her initial request that J vote to keep R in instead of C) J hesitated for a minute and then said..."yeah, I did." He explained that he almost didn't though because he wondered what her intentions were with that request. At first he thought:What a selfless act, she's so good to want to help R stay, now I don't want to vote her out. Then he said he started questioning if that was what she wanted him to think so he would keep her in....C interrupts and says "NO, no! I did that so you wouldn't have to worry about it.I didn't want you to have to worry like I had to with E & L, That was so hard!" etc. etc. That's when C said "Everything I did was selfless." and J agreed with her. Then J said "There is one more thing you asked me to do that I haven't done yet." And C said "Yeah, well you will do it tonight." And he agreed that he would do it if she leaves tonight. (I'm sure then they were referring to him giving her a kiss goodbye) (I guess J did do the "opposite" and voted for C to leave like C had asked him.)

Danielle did vote to evict Roddy, keeping her word to Chiara, but she told Lisa and Jason to vote out Chiara, which they did, helping her keep her word to Amy (her word was to help evict Chiara, not vote her out personally). Amy told Roddy yesterday morning, everything Danielle did to persuade Amy to change from J to R. Roddy told Chiara everything last night. She turned around and told Danielle this morning, asking her why she'd rather have Roddy up than Jason. Chi was confused, and Dan covered by saying, she thought she'd win power of veto, and, if she didn't, she felt closer to Ja than Roddy. After her convo. with Chiara, Danielle was very upset. She told Li about Amy telling Roddy, and Lisa said "why would she do that? she's so stupid." Danielle is not happy. She then complained to Mar, who told her that Amy is easily manipulated by Roddy. He wants Gerry out next. Danielle then went back into Lisa and said that they can't let Roddy win HOH this week, because now that Roddy knows, he'll put Dan up, and that can't happen. That's what I've got so far, but a lot of whispering, and filling in blanks on my part.

Previously on BB. Nothing too surprising. A little more of Chi being a weenie and getting no sympathy from anyone. No Sheryl Crow singing. Hmmm Julie says it is day 48. Julie looks grrrrrrrrrrreat. Marcellas's name was spelled right on the souvenir T-shirt. Roddy advises Chi against revenge if he goes. She agrees. More re-cap. Why is some in B&W and some in colour? Seems to be leaning toward Roddy going at the moment - so it is Chiara. Chiara trusts Dani, and Dani is shown as a bit of a schemer. Marc in Ka-ka for telling Amy that Roddy is going. Jason is confused on his instructions from Dani before voting. Julie gets a subdued response from the HG. Even talk of the SC concert doesn't get them too excited. Gerry missed his anniversary and gets to say he is sticking it out and will bring home the bacon. Jason is gracious and says that he loves the HG's and is sad to see someone go. Hi Julie. Focus on Roddy and Chiara. Roddy gently criticizes Chi, hard to tell which of many times. Chi strikes back a little. Chi talks dirty (TV version) Roddy tries to get Chi to stop whining - he fails to make the point. Roddy comes off well. Chi doesn't get it yet. Roddy dis's his gift picture and Chi is upset. Chi privately dis's his gift (a book?). They are friends, Chi says, but the b/f g/f thing will have to be explored after they get out. Julie interviews the nominees. Roddy says it wasn't personal that they were up, so, it didn't affect his relationship to Chi. Chi says that she was strained and has been a little bit of a pain. He is embarrassed about her sex talk and says he is exercising and taking her vitamins in preparation for her return. They talk of some tough times they have had. You-know-who welcomes us back. She still looks Grrrrreat! She is holding THE ENVELOPE. By a vote of 4 to 1 Chiara is evicted. Every one looks appropriately sad. There are hugs all around. Only Lisa, Roddy and Jason walk her to the door. Dani beat them there. Jason kisses her on the lips, and she is gone. She is sniffling as she walks to the studio. Inside, she is laughing and crying. In the house, it is mostly sniffling and sad faces from everyone that is shown. I didn't notice Dani in the scan. Chi says she is sad, and the worst is having someone come back in and evict her. She resists saying that she never had a chance. Was Lisa your friend or strategy. It started as strategy, but ended as friendship. The Roddy question. A non-answer that says they will explore things later. The segment of clips saying nice things that people really don't mean. Ouch - Lisa tweaks her for the back stabbing, but says they are friends. Roddy says that he hopes to see her when he gets out. Chi meets her stepsister and gives her a big hug. The HoH competition is next. Total Recall is the game.

The table
Jason comes out of the DR and calls the others in to see the table. The large table is gone - replaced by a much smaller one - looks like just the center part of the first table. Everyone seems a little sad. Someone says they don't like it at all. Everyone looks very thoughtful.

he got pictures and goodies and cheese that he gave to amy.. then roddy asks people to check his bag.... look whats inside it... and chiara had left her blanket.. her woobie... and he cries... they are quiet and sad and amazed. he said that he saw the blanket before the live show because he was looking for a shirt.... and was so touched and wanted to cry about it live and fought it didnt want to let her know.... they are all emotional and upset... ja says u gotta know how much she cares for you now

clarification on my last post... chiara left a special gift for roddy secretly in his bag... for non post readers
it was her blanket... she hid it in his bag unbeknownst to anyone... they were all very touched about it. or at least they faked it... then a camera angle in the back showed what i thought was him crying - he did for a bit- but the close up of him crying was actually him lifting weights as it panned out. but still... nice little touch by chi even tho ive dogged her before

very very touching moment,everyone tearing up,and me bawling......
all Hg were in HOH room viewing Jasons basket fullof stuff,roddy interupts and asks everyone to come out and asks jay to open up his bag and see whats on top..Jay does,everyone standing in a circle watching....kind of a silence,everyone starts tearing up,Roddy starts crying(again) and states out loud "she left me her Winny Pooh blanket,how touching is that??????!!!!!!!"he s still crying,everyone is tearing up,(at this point i m bawling...),and someone says "she sleeps with it every night" and someone else "how touching is that" then another coment flies out "now you truly know how she feels about you" roddy s soo touched and through tears says "is this increadible you guys???" everyone keeps saying "it s increadible,it s touching,wow's all around...tears...." roddy and gerry go out to backyard to excersize,and gerry repeats like 5 times "roddy that s amazing,that s increadible.."they both conclude it s very touching and how much she cares about him....... then they (as on a que) man up and start lifting weights....... the restof the cln is inside playing cards and disscusing jays gifts but mostlyphoto album..... p.s.my first post ever,decided to come out from the dark side and post a little.....join the fun......

Gerry and Roddy work out; the others play cards
Roddy and Gerry lifting weights. Gerry asks Roddy if he knows what Jason is going to do. Roddy says he has no idea. G: It just takes the heart out of it... R: What? G: Just not knowing what's coming next. Gerry talking about Julie asking him if he wanted to say something to his wife. Gerry sounds worried, regrets what he said. Roddy is reassuring him that he (G) did a fine job. Feed switches to the the new table. L/Ja/D/M/A playing cards. J talking about his blanket. Dani looking at J's pictures, says he looks older in them. Ja says his dad looks unhappy in one pic, D agrees. J seems very happy to have pic of his dad. More picture talk. Feed switches back outside to G/R lifting. Gerry asks how they'll work out if they lose food. R says they'll go light. G finishes his lift, they go over and do a few crunches. Lots of grunting. Back to the weights.
