Roddy is calling the group to task for Gerry bashing.
I had the sound off, but he was referring to something he overheard them say when Gerry brought out one of the buckets of hot water. Dani seemed about to defend the comment, but thought better of it. Amy is being defensive about people thinking she is being mean when she isn't. The conversation was about only one little comment, but it's a start.

Gerry has returned to get in the tub himself (after delivering another bucket of hot water).
He makes a remark to be careful because it's going to overflow (because of all the water he has added). The camera is on a real impish grin on Dani's face. Her eyes move around to several others in the tub, as if to say 'you know what I'd say about that if Gerry wasn't right here'

Everyone is in the HT, except Marc, and 3 cameras cover it.
Marc is in the HoH vacuuming the carpet. The tub group are discussing relationship stuff. Gerry says the worst thing a married guy can hear from his wife is "Honey, I've got an idea" He just knows that is going to lead to work and expense. Roddy replies that the worst thing a single guy can hear from a girl is "We have to talk". They agree that no good news has ever followed those words.

F4 on Marcellas in HoH, but audio of the HGs in hot tub...
he really went all out in picking up this room! After vaccuuming, he replaced the furniture he moved to do the job and really is "designing" the room now. Blanket on chair, pillows etc. He really seems into it, I wish I could have heard hum chat w. himself.... ooop! Feed now on HGs in HT, not just the audio.

Marc is doing a very thorough job in the HoH. He has moved all the furniture and has even closed the door to get behind it.
I guess that is what you would expect from a neat-freak, but he has done so little in the house before now, that it surprises me. Does he expect to be the new resident on Thursday? He has now put on the hose and attachment and is thoroughly doing all the level spaces above ground (hey, Marc, no one checks the top of the door frame - lighten up). He is now done, and is moving furniture back from the LR. What a guy; and no one there to see it and give him credit. Back to the HT, where everyone is having a genuinely good time without any trash talk. It is so nice to hear - nothing important, just nice to hear. Amy is asked something about her image on the show, and she replies that she's not worried, "The Internet people know the real story. They can't make us into something we're not." There is little comment from the others to this, and not even Dani points out that she might not want the real her shown either. (thank you Gerry, Jason and Roddy - just for being there). They have degenerated to movie talk, and are mostly talking about historically based films. Naturally, Gerry has some comments on the historical accuracy of each film mentioned. Just comments, nothing extensive. Conversation is winding down.

Some bugs have come out on the paving stones (ants) by the HT and most turn around to study them.
Amy is all "oh, wow" about it. I don't know if it is really that interesting, or if it is just preferable to Gerry's comments on the films they mentioned. His comments were innocuous, and he didn't press the point, but they are not in a mood to find anything Gerry says interesting. Now they are talking about past competitions. Dani doesn't think that there have been enough luxury competitions. Jason lists a few that she hadn't thought of (like Sheryl Crow) and she shuts up. Roddy has left and gone to take a shower. Marc is now not visible, but when last seen, he was straightening up the bath.

Roddy scheming with Marcellas in bathroom area.
The others are in the hot tub. Marcellas was asking Roddy(El Diablo) about his deal with Gerry. Roddy flat out denied that there was a deal. Roddy says his deal he made with Marcellas trumps all previous deals. Lisa comes into the bathroom area. I don't know if she heard what Roddy just said. Roddy is now going on about how Marcellas thinks that Gerry may have a deal with Roddy. Roddy insist that he has no power in the house. Lisa goes to the bathroom. Marcellas talks to Roddy in the HRD. Roddy again assures him that he gives his word that Marcellas is 'the one'. Marcellas tells Roddy that Lisa may have heard them plotting. Lisa comes out of the bathroom. Roddy takes her to the HRD. He whispers to Lisa that Marcellas thought that he had an alliance with Gerry. And that is all they were discussing. Lisa says she doesn't want to know what other people are saying. She only takes information she gets directly. Roddy says he wants to talk to Lisa on the hammock later.

Marc comes in and gives Roddy the friendly advice that he shouldn't be seen with Gerry "because no body in the house trusts him anymore."
Roddy is being a little defensive and says "what am I supposed to do? You mean that I'm in trouble because I play chess with the guy?" Marc goes on and ends up asking if Roddy wants Gerry to say. Roddy says, "I'm thinking about it. I'm considering all options but I wanted to discuss them with you. Gerry owes me one, so it's kink of hard to see him go." If it was you on the block, wouldn't you want me to give you the courtesy of a review. Marc backs off and ends up with OK, OK. Roddy leaves Marc in the kitchen to go to the yard with a towel around him. Marc goes to the bath to brush his teeth and Roddy comes back with a sports jersey on, and sits down to talk. I can't hear much at first because of the running water. Marc continues to advise against Roddy associating with Gerry and accusing him of having a deal with him. Roddy counters "What deal could I have with a guy who's on his way out?" Marc brings up that Gerry didn't put up Roddy and Chi when he had the chance and asks if he had a deal with Gerry. Roddy goes on the counter attack. What evidence do you have to back that up. Marc says he heard a conversation, and Roddy repeats a conversation with Marc where Marc admitted he had a deal with Gerry. He accuses Marc of making it up. Marc denies that, but counters something about perception. Roddy attacks again - perception, that's not reality. What's your proof? Lisa has wandered in and out and can't be too far away. She was there to witness Roddy demanding Marc admit that he just made those facts up. She comes back later to use the w/c and they go into the HRD and close the door. Roddy reminds Marc of the conversation they had in the HT one night (the one where they seemed to make a deal). He insists that everything he said was true then and is still true now. Roddy tells Marc not to worry about Lisa overhearing part of the conversation, he will tell her . . . (I didn't catch it)

Marc leaves the HRD, and Roddy asks Lisa to come in from the bath.
He explains to her what he and Marc were talking about and putting a spin on it to the effect that it was just an argument about Roddy being warned about his supposed deal with Gerry to keep him in the house. It seems reasonable and Lisa seems to accept it OK. They finish and Lisa leaves for the kitchen. On her way, she says that she doesn't want to hear that stuff. He follows her down the hall into the kitchen asking, "What do you mean, I can't talk to you about the game anymore?". She says, No, no, it's just that I don't know anything about that stuff" Roddy breaks off to go in the HoH to talk to Marc some more. He says, gently, don't come to me with that stuff unless you can back it up. Roddy leaves the HoH as Amy comes in. Marc gives her a self serving account of his conversation with Roddy. Regardless of the accuracy of his account to her, he ends with an interesting observation, that now Roddy cannot vote for Gerry and the vote will be 4-0. Amy is proud of him and says that he is kicking ass and taking names and the names of everyone's partner. She finds an ant on her arm and rushes off to take a shower.

They may be planning on returning to the HT because they call out to the tub to see how hot it still is. Lisa is still in her bikini, but wrapped in a big orange towel. The conversation is harmless and I missed some, but Lisa remarked about being afraid to go to bed because she will dream about the game.

Jason and Dani have been left alone in the HT (F 3 & 4).
I just focused on them and missed a lot, but they just seem to be having a general conversation about their experiences in the house and their lives. Amy is dressed now, and comes to visit the HT. She has a plate of food that she is smacking on. They talk about food they will eat when they get out (strange, Lisa and Roddy were talking about the same thing just before I switched to focus on this conversation). More talk of the ants and where they are coming from. Jason announces that he is leaving to take a shower and will leave them alone to talk. He doesn't move. They talk about the 'good bye message' he has yet to record in the DR for the two nominees. There is some discussion about does he have to do that. Yes, everyone does. Jason says something to Amy about "I haven't been nominated, but . . ." Amy replied, "no you haven't" in a rather snarkey voice. The question is, does the nominee record a good bye message to the other nominee. Amy says "Yes". He calls Amy over and whispers that he doesn't know what is going on in the house, but to make sure that Marc votes to evict . . . (I presume Gerry). He seems quite concerned about it and reassures Amy that she is safe.

Jason finally leaves the HT, and Amy and Dani start to whisper
(remember, this is the HT with all it's noises, and Dani is a master whisperer). Amy recounts some conversation (I presume the one between Marc and Roddy) All I catch is from Amy to the effect that "I don't think he broke down" so it's OK. They move on to getting HoH next week and who to nominate. Amy says that she will handle it like Jason did, but she also says something about "he wouldn't hesitate to put me up". I moved to a different feed to see if I could hear better. I learned that Amy is eating an orange thing that looks like an orange cut into segments, but isn't. After a while, Marc comes out to kiss Dani. (He may be saying good night). He goes off camera and calls out "101", so he must have read the thermometer. He calls to Roddy and Lisa that it is OK if they want to stew. Lisa enters the HT. There are various movements of personnel, but we now end up with Roddy, Lisa and Dani in the HT, with a side order of Amy. Gerry is on the patio by himself. Roddy has a bag of cookies and calls over to offer Gerry one. Gerry says OK and gets up to go over and get it. While he does he says in a caveman voice "What kind cookie?" Roddy hasn't lost his civility (in spite of Marc's warning), and , Gerry hasn't lost his sense of humour. There is hope for the species. Some other stuff happened before the FOTFH but it wasn't important, or I missed it while editing and posting. Let's say that it wasn't important - what are the odds?

Still Dani, Lisa and Roddy in the HT, with Amy on the side and Gerry in a chair nearby (on all feeds).
Roddy tells a story about somewhere where the police set up a road block for DWI checks. There was a sign posted that said "DWI check 1 mile" The next sign said "Exit 1/2 mile". He was suggesting that it was not mistake, I think. Roddy now talks about the possibility of wormholes and the shape of the universe. He mentions that this was the background of the movie Sphere. Dani asks if he liked the movie. Roddy comments that it was written by his favourite author, the same author of the book he gave Chiara. Now they talk of the future of the universe. Expansion or collapse. Now on to infinity "it is a big number, an extraordinarily big number" Lisa seems to listen with rapt attention. Dani and Amy are quiet. Gerry sits with his head in one hand, but it turns out that he was listening, and he now contributes. Roddy carries on the concept to discuss religion, and how it is founded on fictitious ideas. His concept is that scientific reality is far more wondrous than any concept of God's power. Dani questions him gently about his beliefs in terms of morality. Some of this is hard to hear, and although I am enjoying it, I am just skimming it here. I don't think this is the kind of discussion people come here for. Dani is being much more open and accepting of Roddy's position, and she is smiling) than I might have expected. On the other hand, Roddy is so passionate in his beliefs, that his argument is compelling. He comes to the same conclusions about human morality as a religious person might, but he uses logic and science to defend it. Some other unimportant and uninteresting stuff is said. Then Gerry asks Dani something about her beliefs. Dani says that to believe in God is an act of faith, . . . FOTFH (is faith copy written?) We come back to a good meeting of the minds between Roddy and Dani about the fundamentals of God and faith. It turns out that Dani has some questions about the bible and the supposed rules of faithful living. It seems that hers is a personal faith, not one driven by the bible. She doesn't seem to disagree with the devil (Roddy). Gerry brings up the writings of Thomas Paine. Interesting conversation for a change. I'm going to listen to it and not try to type it. Except for this factoid: Dani's fathers church has 15 people in it.

There is discussion in the HT about breaking up and going in.
Roddy comments to the effect that what is the point in going elsewhere - there's nothing to do there either. He says that about everything in the place. You go over there because it seems interesting, but when you get there you find out it isn't. Naturally, just as I was getting interested in the philosophical discussion, all feeds change to the dining room where Amy, Marc and Jason are talking. The topic seems to be Roddy's earlier criticism of someone in the HT for saying nasty things about Gerry that may or may not have been within Gerry's hearing. Jason seems to reassure Amy that it was OK and that Roddy may have misunderstood. Marc goes on about what must have been a continuing conversation about his confrontation with Roddy. He is talking in terms of what he could have said as evidence, but returns to perception is so important. Jason resumes a conversation about the vote (he must have brought up Marc's vote to him, instead of relying on Amy to do it). He again suggests that he doesn't know what is going on in the house, and he wants to have everything go smoothly. It almost sounds like there may be a live vote, because Jason talks of how bad it would be if you got nervous and said the wrong name. You would look bad trying to take it back. He also mentioned Julie in this context, so I don't think he was talking about voting in the DR. Still, it might all be fun speculation, because it obviously referred back to some prior conversation they had before I got here. The others have come in (at least Roddy and Lisa have). With them all together, I think I can safely go and read the PX for a while.

M & L & D in the HRD. Marc trying to confirm what Roddy told Lisa after the confrontation tonight.
(Marc seems to be doing a lot of damage control about a confrontation that he thinks he won). Lisa is pleading ignorance and saying that she told Roddy that she knew nothing about what he was talking about (true). Marc says that Roddy asked him who he was voting for and Marc countered that with why would you want to know if you aren't working for Gerry (I have no memory of anything remotely like that in the conversation tonight). Things break up and people go to the kitchen for a bedtime snack. Gerry has gone to bed. Roddy and Amy are in the patio chatting. Jason joins them. The rest are in the kitchen area in the dark (BB has turned out the lights). Lisa seems to be sitting at the dining table with a deck of cards, and on one feed she looks like she is in a spotlight. On another feed, it is apparent that she is in the dark with Dani and Marc re-hashing the conversation with Roddy. Marc repeats again that perception is everything in the house (perhaps because that argument blew up on him when he tried it with Roddy). Marc says that even if he (Roddy) didn't say and do the things they accuse him of, there is no way that he couldn't have known about them, and if he knew about them and didn't do anything, it's just as bad as if he had done or said it. (this is in the context of anything that someone else did, but which benefited Roddy) I lost the rest of this conversation. I don't remember why. I was making notes while trying to catch up on the PX. It may have timed out or the feeds may have switched (they have been doing a lot of that tonight)

Just popped in on the end of a convo between Marc and Dani in the hall outside the HRD. Dani just reported to Marc that Roddy said that "putting him in this house was like putting Crocodile Dundee in survivor. That's how good he thinks he is." Then they split up - Marc to the kitchen to wash up, Dani to the bath or HRD. (I've heard that quote attributed to Roddy before. Was it from Roddy's background info? How does Dani know that?) (also, if he said it, what the hell was Roddy thinking when he said it). Later, Dani and Lisa were at the dining table objecting to Roddy's scientific/religious commentary in the HT. They are trashing what he said because he was attacking or not respecting their beliefs, yet they made no objection or argument to what he said or how he said it at the time. Everything he said was in the context of what he believed and what he could not understand about some other belief systems. None of it was directed at any individual or belief system. He responded politely and respectfully to Dani's questions, and I thought at the time that they were having a sharing moment. I should have known better.

About Roddy's comment on the Crocodile Dundee thing....
Roddy did make a statement but it wasn't as cocky as what Danielle is making it out to be. He said when he came into the house at the very beginning, he was thinking that putting him in the house was like putting Crocodile Dundee on Survivor. Then he said that he quickly realized that he was wrong and it would be tougher than he thought. Sorry I can't recall who he was speaking to at the time, but it was either Marcelles, Gerry or Jason.

Much earlier on the patio with Gerry, Amy and Roddy. Amy made some reference to monkey bars. Gerry says they don't have those anymore. "Why not" says Amy. Gerry blames it on Trevor. Apparently, Trevor is a fictitious person that he and his son made up to blame things on. He is the overweight nerd who has stupid accidents and causes people to remove or regulate things (like monkey bars) that had always been around before. Gerry objects to this overreaction and thinks that Americans think they can control everything and live forever. "We are producing a soft nation of people who are afraid to take risks" He talks of pampered, overprotected kids turning 20 and getting into extreme sports out of frustration that they were never allowed to take risks before. On the patio with Jason, Amy and Roddy. In response to a question from Amy about how well the BB2 people got along, Jason reports on Will and Shannon. Strangely, his description of that relationship sounds a lot more like that of Roddy and Chiara than anything I remember about Will and Shannon. Chalk that up as one of those things that makes you go, Hmmmmm. Otherwise, his rambling report of life in the BB2 house was very accurate, if a little short on specifics. This leads into a discussion of the Internet coverage. Roddy and Amy agree that they are lucky to have the Internet so that the producers can't pull a fast one with the editing, and make them look to be different than they really are. In the old days (20 years ago) or even on Survivor today, the cast are at the mercy of the producers because there is no one to say what really happened. (Yes, we can testify as to exactly what happened, often with pictures. Be careful what you wish for)

Cycling the Feeds between 2:40 & 2:50 BBT
Amy and Jason are in the patio chatting on F 1 & 2. Jason practices saying "I vote to evict . . . Gerry" Amy says that is awful and Jason agrees but says he wants to have it go well. Gerry joins them. Jason is yawning. Gerry says something about some plans for a 4 am HT party. Jason asks when they go back to school where he works. Gerry lectures on school policy and related stuff. Amy tells school stories. F 3 & 4 is the HRD. Dani is in her usual place, Marc is in the bed by the door, and Roddy and Lisa seem to be sharing the big bed (both are under the covers). They have the lamps on and are sitting up chatting about harmless things. Dani asks if "he" (Gerry) checked the chemicals after they got out (of the HT). Roddy doesn't seem to know. Dani was questioning Gerry very closely about the HT procedures while they were still in the HT. She seems concerned about it's maintenance. Roddy and Lisa talk about sign language. Marc bounces up and down on his bed in front of the camera I am watching. He stops and looks directly at me and says "Hi, how are you?' (Wasn't that sweet? Now I can safely go to bed - TTFN) Damn, before I could shut this cursed thing down, Amy came into the HRD. She is tweaking Marc (in front of Roddy) about "Perception is everything" She is quite funny, but I'm not sure that Marc is amused. (he shouldn't be, considering how much he has been seriously pushing that same point all night - Amy doesn't know about most of that)

and they decide that there will be at least one, if not several chances for the house to be on PBJ and how much easier it will be if all the house is on it they also expect that there will be another special food opportunity, and they mention Pizza Hut. Ja thinks that will be great. G manages to add that that's another reason he wants to stay, because he wants to see what the next food special might be Ja mentions he knew something was coming before the DD reward, because he had told the DR how much they liked Subway week, and hoped it could happen again. BB told him not to worry, that something was coming Ja says during the donut competition he never considered that they would get donuts. G says he knew right away. Ja says he just wasn't thinking and that it was a surprise to him. But both agree it was great....

Says he won't discuss the specific details about any of his gf, there weren't many of them, and they didn't sign up for it M says he dosen't want names, just wonders if anal sex is involved much. discusses Karaoke night again, and that the workers were very very scary. American men working at hotels are much less scary. There was one mexican worker who wouldn't let her alone, and keeps following her telling her to have a good vacations. She says she told them she is having a good vacation "thinking about her fiance" and that he was scary and ugly she had to use Alison (her handler) to help deal with it

I think D has just realized how mean they have been to G, and is now saying...
the others lack compassion and are cold. Am I giving her too much credit on this? I am trying to figure out if she is angry with herself for voting against Gerry or if, in fact she voted to keep him in the house. If the latter is true, than behaving this way before the vote results may not be in her best interest. Am I just rambling, or does any of what I say make sense to the outside world?
