He replies "Because I'm stuck in a f'ing house and can't leave" He said he feels like he wants to work out again, he just can't sit still. He asks her if she's going to hang out in the hammock for a while. He says he's going to go in and eat. He leans over and kisses her "goodbye". She gets him to sit down and snuggles up close to him. Talking about how hard the game is. She says how nice it would be just to sit there like that for a while. R says: With about 56 beers A: Well, that too...(giggles) And no cameras (she giggles more) R: Amy! This is a family show A: I didn't say what I'd want to do.... More chit chat about how hard the game is. R: Well, I'm going to go continue my food rampage now. Are you going to sit out here a while? A: I might, or I might follow you inside in a moment. R: Well, it's not that far to go A stays curled up in hammock (ed note: kind of close to the edge, IMO) R inside getting something to eat. Talks to M (who is in green chair in bathroom) for a quick moment. Decides to give him some privacy.

No one posted this conversation here and I could not have done a better job than this person, hope it ok to copy it here. This conversation took place after she woke up from her druken stuper after falling asleep in the hammock BTW did anyone post (I forgot if I read it here or not) that she fell out of the hammock tonight - but only Roddy seen it as far as I know. But she was Reallly drunk. Marc and Amy (Long) Author: Willow (209.83.129.17) Date: 09-02-02 00:11 (Mid-Conversation with Marc and Amy in the HOH. After everyone thought she was sleeping, they went outside to talk... then she woke up and Marc escorted her back to the HOH room.) Amy is talking to Roddy...(actually should say she was talking to M about Roddy) saying he's so good. He's asking me to put myself before him. M: The thing that is so amazing about him, he wants YOU to be emotional, but he only wants to deal with you logically. Thats why he can tell you what he should do... and you're emotionally attached. A: I told him... if there are just so many people in the house who just worship you, and you're the only one left...? There's no way in hell I'm gonna put him before me. M: He wouldn't return the favor A: Exactly, and thats why my speech is going to be about...if he has this mentality that I should him.. I lobbied so hard to keep him in this house...and offered to do it again and he wouldn't even give me a vote? I can't throw myself in front of a train for him. If someone did that for me... I would feel like I owed it to them to do something for them... regardless. If he can't see that, how can he ask me to veto him? Then he tells me all day about me not keeping my word (about the old veto comp).. I went to the DR asking to see that tape and they wouldn't let me. M: It goes like that to everyone giving their word to Josh the first night. If you make a deal with the devil, the only honorable thing is to break that deal. A: I said yeah, maybe I said that but I had no idea then that you'd be nominated against me, and that you had deals with everyone in the house. He claims he and Chia had a deal with Jason, and he and Eric had a deal with Lisa. He doesn't think the deal with Jason is solid, and if Marc would put Jason up he could support me. But he'd have to get with Lisa to find out. I saved him twice and he can't do that.. thats why I'm not going to veto him. M: Why do you feel like you have to give a speech? A: I'm not giving a big one. When I was HOH I didnt give a speech, I said what I wanted... tomorrow I'm going to say why, and its done. M: Why don't you say you made an unreasonable decision earlier in the game... you were a diff person, he was a diff person.. A: He keeps telling me he didn't do this to me, Marcellas did.. I said I didnt care.. Marcellas and I will still be friends..it has nothing to do with the game. M: First and foremost, I put you up to tell you something, and I also put you up not thinking for a second that you would go. A: He thinks I'm going to walk out of her either... why does he think that? He says my only chance to stay is to veto him. I don't see it... If it turns out he was playing the others and bashing Amy for the game... I'll be shocked.) M: He's asked every single person in this house... A: I'm playing a game for me and not for him.. he could have asked me, he didnt play me smart enough. That's his mistake, not mine. M: He always makes one mistake with every person A: I think he's a very intelligent person, he's a genious at it. Outside the game, he's stellar... inside the game I'm not going to sacrifice myself for him. M: Too many people have... A: Yep, everybody has... M: The only people who didn't were Tonya and Lori... It's so funny. He came to me and offered me a deal.. two deals. That's the thing with him, he knows what's going on. He says he won't put me up..and I was like Thank you. He says, can you make me the same? I was like yeah, at that time neither of us was HOH. Then he got on the block against Chiara, he came to me... you have my back ya know? A: He told me everyone came to him and said they wouldn't vote him out.. M: I never did that.. A: I told him I don't believe that... I told him everybody wanted you out and I went around and begged for you to stay. M: I thought Chiara should go...and then people thought about it..and the more stuff we found out. He did 2 things in that deal, he cut Chiara loose -- said he was forced to be in a relationshop with her. I was like, you're a grown man, no one forced you. Then he did this thing to me during the chicken liver thing. As soon as I walked up he was like "you're feeling nauseaus aren't you?" That same psycho babble thing he did during the browning competition. He was putting it in my head... that night in the hottub he was like "you got those flowers for me didn't ya" ... I was so angry after he nominated us -- the way he worked me then was unreal. I'm tired of being worked. NO ONE ELSE WORKS ANYBODY OVER LIKE THAT. A: I'm so glad I know it.. I'm so glad I'm strong enough. I prayed and prayed last night..and the only thing that kept coming back to me was "don't do it" .. there's no way I could do it. He'd get off scott free for all the stuff he's done.. M: He seems to think he's playing this game so well but he keeps getting nominated. (lost sound for a minute) A: He said, even if you go out Thursday night, I'll keep trying to get nominated to break your record... M: I love that alpha-male sort of thinking. Broken bones and eye gouging
Another topic that I did not see mentioned in tonights updates is at one point the hg were sitting in the BY and they were talking about childhood accidents. Amy joins the group and says she's had several things including a broken arm that when she called her mother and told her, her mother said "I told you that you were going to get hurt, so don't tell me your troubles, call your father" THEN she said....this is great.....She poked her sister's eye out and she (her sister) had to have surgery and then she said.....that was last year!!!! Everyone's eyes got big and there was total silence! LMAO

That was a story she had told before. She said she hit her sister trying to get her to get out of bed to go to court with her and she had a cordless
phone in her hand. Her sister says the cordless phone poked her eye but she thinks it was her ring. She said that blood was everywhere and she freaked out. She said she never hits people and she felt horrible about it. She said she still feels horrible about it. She said her sister couldn't see for three months that they had to take the whole eye out to fix it. She said she doesn't know how her sister could forgive her. She said that her sister says she sees fine now but amy doesn't believe it. She said if her sister had done that to her she didn't think she could forgive her. Amy has shown a lot of guilt about this.

M and his lotion (20 mins ago)
Jumped into a feed (about 20 mins ago) D talking with L at table about how she has some friend that she talks to using hands and that it's fun working there. M is wiping up in the kitchen. A pump bottle of Jergens is on table along with DD coffee mugs next to girls. M brings up how he wouldn't be sleeping how R is sleeping. L says that does makes her sad. D asks where is he (R)? L says outside in the hammock, she thinks. M says he likes the idea of them all sleeping in one room but he can not make himself sleep in the same bed that G was in. D says A might get HOH and he can sleep with her. M says that is over. M says that you guys need to do whatever you can to make sure that doesn't happen (says it again, harsher). M finishes the kitchen, comes to kitchen table clapping and applies lotion to his hands/arms saying, "Yippee!!" L asks what stuff is that ("Cherry Almond?")- M says no, Jergens. He loves it - that it soaks in. L says a lot of time the cheaper stuff is better - especially make-up. She won't throw away Clinique or anything but wouldn't buy it. M says the Nivea stuff was so bad - it wouldn't soak in. L talks about the body butter they "got for that thing" how it would soak in but left you oily. M says when he had hair he was a huge Aveda boy (Blue Malva - "smells like heaven"). M says he may go out & start some laundry. L said they have 20 minutes. D brings up G doing his laundry in kitchen sink and how gross that is - "at least do it in the bathroom sink!" M and D briefly G bash. D goes in to look at lizards for a bit - taps on cage. D is in a skirt with geisha and Japanese letters on it with purple tank top, hands on hips. Mutters "nasty creatures" to them. Taps on cage some more, opens the top and reaches in to do something. Camera switches to shot of empty DR. Then to J and L in WC. J is cleaning his nose with Qtips. (friend is here with choc chip muffin - yum!)

A is a self-professed "natural disaster junkie" - telling the story of how she drove to New Orleans during Hurricane Danny, hoping to get caught in the hurricane (a life-long dream of hers, we discover). She winds up going to Pat O'Briens (bar) and a rush party - she giggles about "drinking hurricanes during the hurricane" at this party. R agrees about how cool natural disasters are and starts to share a story of his own. This all followed A telling a story about a tornado behind her house when she was a child.

Amy comes in and apologizes to Roddy. She is crying. "You have no idea how difficult that was for me." She suggests that Roddy might want to say something about it. Roddy tells her not to make up stories to make herself feel better. He says it was OK what she did. He comforts her while at the same time making her feel even guilty than she does. He hugs her and tells her that she did what she thought was best. He repeats that it is OK, and that they will talk later - right now he has to go get a tan

She says "don't watch me changing, OK?" The camera moves and she says thank you. There is a brief shot of the people in the yard, then all return to the lizard room. Amy has changed. She goes into the kitchen, still sniffling, and gets a plate of something to eat. She stands alone at the counter and finishes it up, then retrieves her glass from the LR and goes into the HoH for her sunglasses. Now back to the lizard room for a top to put over her bikini top. Off to the yard, still sniffling occasionally. She stands alone there for a while, then seems to start interacting with the others.

Speaks of her resisting attempts of others to influence her. He is almost saying that he is proud of her, but hasn't actually said it yet. He tells a story of someone he works with and how he confronted it. He says that that situation is now cleared up (is he suggesting that the situation between them is now cleaned up because she did the right thing?) They go back to helping the wash-up crew.

They all go back to washing and have a little water fight - then back to work. Marc is spraying the towels held up by Jason for rinsing. Jason complains that he is spraying his microphone. Marc says he isn't and he should get back to work. Just wash talk now. Amy has come back with a Snickers bar to eat, and she watches the work. All cameras are on the work crew in the yard.

Jason doesn't seem to think so. Amy still seems to be right there, and she doesn't comment. The conversation changes when Marc suggests that he thinks he will get an apartment out there (LA). They chat about that and all living there (or visiting). About getting bunk beds for the crowding. Marc refers to an apartment in Milan with 15 boys all together in there. More towel talk. They speculate on the number of towels yet to do and how many they each use each day. Jason uses one per shower, and the others think that excessive (all the towels are his fault) Lisa and Dani say that they use 2 towels, one for the head and one for the body. They rag on Jason some more and he says that Roddy does the same. Surprisingly, they don't jump on Roddy, but keep in on Jason. Back to the worst offences that Gerry made in the house. Time for me to stop listening and goe for coffee.

Amy's sitting by herself in back yard, Roddy was out there a little while ago - "What's up Am-o?" and asked her if she was okay, she said she was fine, just tired, she hadn't had a nap today. While he was out there Lisa & Danielle (who are making dinner in kitchen) were talking about how Danielle told Amy today she was like a moth to a flame when it came to Roddy, she just needed to stay away from him. Then Roddy came in and they had the conversation about not giving Amy any alcohol. He left and came back in kitchen again, went out to back yard again, Lisa & Danielle talk about Roddy telling Amy she can't have any alcohol but hers. Now girls are discussing whether they're about to start their periods. Lisa said she got hers right after Amy came back, opens door and asks Amy how many weeks she's been back (Amy says "this is my third"). Seems to be the consensus that Danielle & Lisa will start their periods next week. That's about all the excitement of the last 20 min/half hour...

Finally, Roddy puts sunglasses on. Amy asks if those are the new ones, he nods & says "pretty cool". Says he would have grabbed all of the sunglasses (during the competition) for everybody but he didn't know what BB would have said. Long silence again. Camera keeps going closeup on Amy, looks like she's about to cry any second. Roddy breaks silence again, talks about sleeping this late in the day and how he'll be up all night. Says to Amy, "I hope you like me 'cos I'm gonna be up talking a long time" and grabs her hand. She says "Good." R: What are ya thinkin' Am-o? A doesn't say anything, just sighs. Long pause. A: What are you thinking? R: I don't know. (long pause) Just thinking... that uh... there are certain things here that have been disappointing. A: I know. R: And, well, we just sometimes... you know I expected it to be kinda hard, but... A: It's emotionally draining, mentally draining. And a lot of times heart-wrenching. R: Mm-hmm. M says he told A she won't get what she needs from R and he's not going to give her what she wants and needs, says A goes to him "love me" and R can't love anyone but himself. D talks about R wanting to tell A she can't have any alcohol. D says what purpose does R have in just being mean to A. A hasn't felt accepted all her life and now (D says) R goes to A making her feel insecure. D just said she thinks R is 34 or 35 years old. M says he said it on sight. D says if he's 30 years old that's amazing. M&D talk about how R's experience and how his body looks like 34-35 years old. Life experience, the way R deals with the other HGs, the way R's friends are. M & D are sure R must have lied about his age and must be 34 or 35. When R got HOH, he got no pictures. D says he has great stories, M says M talks about his family a lot and there are good and bad things, but when R talks about his family everything's good good good, no bad. M: "I don't understand how you get that way unless something's not perfect. I think if people are unkind or malicious, that something had to happen to make them like that." D asks when someone deserves to get totally degraded, for D to be mean like that is not in her spirit, unless they're coming at her, "then it's on", but still "it's not in my spirit to be that - I can't... if I'm backed in a corner, it's on". Now talking about Josh... D says she wanted to tell Josh that Roddy was campaigning against him. D says "the suggestive overtone in R's storytelling..." M breaks up and puts his head in D's lap, they laugh. Now talking about Josh situation again. M now talking about when one goes to a therapist, that therapists are not supposed to tell you what to do but are supposed to lead you in a direction - says that's what R does with people. D says R knew D was coming after him. Says R asked her what do you do if you know someone is coming after you, said that to D over and over again, she says. M turns off HOH light and looks thru shades looking for R, doesn't see him, turns the lights back on. Mostly same old conversation, posting...

L - theyll take that off the price of the car you are buying? Roddy tries to explain to sell it yourself D - I had a mustang to trade in L - why not just sell it D - it had too many miles. it was worth nothing. i had some cash. the minivan cost more. the used ones had a lot of miles (PP). the sticker price was the same as the brand new one.
