Late night Hammock Talk with R & L: they are talking about personal things, childhood etc and L asked if R is closer to...(very LONG)
one of his parents and he says no just the same. He asked her the same question and L says she's closer to her dad than her mom. Lisa says she & her mom had a falling out a few years ago..it was her parents 26th wedding anniversary and Lisa had bought them a new roof for their house for a gift. Lisa's mom had hinted that's what they wanted and L's dad said she shouldn't spend that kind of money and was mad about it at the time and L didn't know why. So a few weeks later after the roof and anniversary L's mom called her up and said she was divorcing L's dad and that she was really glad L bought the roof because she was going to sell the house and it would help the house sell for more. Lisa was mad and felt used and had a big fight with her mom over that and because they she was divorcing her dad. It took awhile for her to get over it and now they are more like friends...her mom calls her up and tells her about her dates...but is never happy...L says it's not the mother I would want..L says don't get me wrong I had a very happy childhood but..L says her mother was very smothering and that's why she left home at 18. L says One time her mom wrote her ex boyfriend in high school a letter anonymously and acted like it was from one of L's friends when he broke up with L...he came to school and was mad at all of them and L said when she saw the letter she knew it was her mother's wording and she confronted her and her mom said I didn't like the way he hurt you..L says their family used to go camping for 2 weeks every year and that's the only time they really had to spend with their dad because he worked all the time and weird and long hours and was only home on the weekend and then he was quiet and just played Nintendo. Her brother always tried to get her dad's attention and was a clown...the few times he could get his dad to laugh was special because L and her mom would look at each other and smile. L says now her Dad laughs all the time though and is very happy and fun...a different man. Lisa continually talks and she shakes as she is talking about her parents, Roddy says we ought to go in.. are you cold? L says no she shakes when she thinks about things that upset her. L continues to tell R that her parents had to get married because they had a child before Lisa...and that her younger brother blamed L for the reason he turned out bad..L got everything, modeling, dance, lots' of after school activities and her brother was a latch key kid and didn't get the attention that L got. Roddy asked what happened to the first child her parents had..L said they were killed in a drunk driving accident..silence..then R oh i'm sorry. L says I really can't go into that right now..it was a very strange situation..L doesn't say if it was a brother or sister...L said she was (i thought she said 1 yr old when it happened?). Roddy says I bet that had more to do with your parents trouble in their marriage than you realize. L says yes I'm sure it did. A little more convo and then they decide to go in....L & R are now in the bedroom whispering and talking about life...they are laying on the floor together....L says she's happy with the person she is now...R talking about how great his parents are and how they are the reason he got self confidence at an early age..... stopping now, tired and it's hard to hear the whispering correctly...

THIRD TWIST - GOLDEN VETO, and 'Dinner Party From Hell' - Stuff from while board was down
WHile board was down, BB forgot to cut from DR when Jason was in. We had sound and video on feed 1 for about 4 mins. The producer was having Jason repeat "The dinner party from hell" and had him saying "From Hell" over and over again. THen, they had him open a box, with the sealed/secret/confidential info about the contest rules inside. But on the top was a card with itentical text and Jason was instructed to read it a few times, so the producers could "get it right". Nice reality tv. Frell. Now, the info that leaked is that the competition will be for something called "The Golden Veto"...and then FOTH. SO - we know that there will be a 'Golden Veto', and a 'Dinner Party From Hell'. GOLDEN VETO - (final veto of the season) Rules same as before, but now, can also save yourself if you are on the block. Veto meeting will be held live during next Thursday's live show. Veto competition will be Sunday

Preamble to the "Expect the Unexpected" revelation
Jason announces that BB is going to call them all into the DR and ask their reactions to the "Expect the Unexpected" notice. He speculates that they will get the answer in about a half an hour. Dani called to the DR. Jason starts an over and under 7 bet for how many times Dani will say "Scandalous" in her DR session.. Dani returns and is asked if she kept track. She says, "2 scandalous and 1 diabolical". Amy wins, she had under.

The "Unexpected" is previewed.
Shot of Jason in the DR with sound. He almost sneezed while waiting on BB to talk to him. BB says, "Before we start, in the LR before the couch, those three tables (something about the tallest one and setting it up). I need you to rearrange them." Jason says, "so I can set it on it? OK, got ya" He leaves to do what he is told. On his way back to the DR we get a brief look at a fancy box, siting on a table in the DR, I think. Back in the DR, Jason is told to read an introduction for the camera. "Welcome to the dinner party - the dinner party from Hell. He repeats it several times with different inflection. BB says "now give me an even more evil one". Jason says, "From Hell" several ways. BB says "you've given me more than enough". Jason gives him another one or two, including one in his announcer voice. Now Jason reads the full instructions out so that he is familiar with them for when he reads them for the HG's. BB tells him that when he goes out, he is to pretend that he doesn't know what is going on. The instructions reference the last use of the POV. FOTFH then back to the LR where Dani is reading the BB rules about how BB have the right to make any changes to the schedule that they want. Conversation degenerates to movie talk.

Jason Makes the Announcement
He comes out with a Blue envelope. He opens it and reads. The Golden Veto. This will be the last chance to veto a nominee. All the same rules as POV, except 1 new power. You can take yourself off the block if you win it. The announcement of Golden Veto use will be on Thursday's Live Show. The competition for it will be held on Sunday. The new Golden Veto is in the box we saw before, and has a blue ribbon. There is some talk about what it means, and it starts to sink in that it effects the voting. Jason thinks he will announce the nominations live, then the Golden Veto will be used, but he seems to think they will still go into the DR to vote secretly. Jason goes into the DR for more instructions. He returns to announce that Nominations are tomorrow, and the Golden Veto competition is on Sunday. Jason starts to talk about past BB changes and we get FOTFH. They come back to a discussion that Jason is the only one guaranteed to make it to the final 4. The Thurs. show will announce the Nominations, then the Golden Veto will be used live, then the votes will be announced, then Jason may have to break a tie live Jason is excited that this will make great TV and that America will get to see the process they go through.

General discussion of changes in the past, and their effects.
Marc thinks that they are numb to changes now. However, he does talk of the first week, and repeats his belief that he could have beat Lori without Gerry's help. There is general agreement, but not enthusiastically so. Jason suggests that Roddy confirmed Josh's story that Marc was still gone. Others soft peddle that and suggest that Marc had the votes. Surprisingly, this doesn't degenerate to a general Gerry bashing. Later, however, hey do get to some general Roddy bashing. And Josh bashing. Jason points out that Josh gave them (the 5 remaining) a lot of information -in part because he survived a nomination. They also thank Josh for distracting Roddy so that he couldn't play his game properly. Jason commends Gerry for his tolerance of Josh and his behaviour. This is a nice change - reviewing past HG's and finding good things about them. Except for Roddy; he is still the bad guy (I guess it's still too soon to get him in perspective). The anti-Roddy rhetoric and revisionist history goes on for a very long time - mostly lead by Dani and Marc, but the others contribute. Only Jason seems to have a reasonable perspective on Roddy's play, and is understanding.

As of 3:45 BBT, Marc, Dani and Amy are still in their PJ's.
Not sure about Lisa, who is wrapped in a red blanket. Jason seems to be dressed, but I don't know how he dresses for bed. btw: the tree in the front yard is leaning again.

Snippets, starting shortly before Noon, BBT
Jason proposes that come Wed. they not discuss votes. (they aren't allowed to anyway). He references Roddy directly asking Amy how she voted. Marc says "he didn't care, what were they going to do, give him a penalty nomination?" But Jason's point is, it put someone else in the position of breaking the rules. They decide it is not an issue, since they are not supposed to discuss votes anyway. On to a discussing of singing. Jason talks of singing the scales in the shower. Dani says that the scales are probably OK, but Jason says that someone may own some warm-up routine that they think is public. Amy says she was singing a song form a Canadian band and she thought that was OK (she thinks only US music is protected, apparently). Marc, of course, says "What part of 'no singing' don't you understand" The theme here seems to be Jason/HoH reviewing the rules and gently getting them to agree to follow them. He is being very subtle about it though. On to a discussion of child discipline (them when they were kids). Dani's mom got upset enough with her to invite her outside, into the street, to settle the matter. Dani thought better of it and declined. Jason objected to the speech he always got before the punishment "just woup me and get it over with" Marcellas apparently set his mother and her mother against each other to try to get out of something (like, I want her to be my mother now). FOTFH Amy tells a long and convoluted story about her mother being kidnapped/accosted when Amy was a kid. There was complete silence to the story. Dani does ask some questions, but it sounds like she is just trying to understand what Amy is talking about, not that she is interested. Even Amy ends up saying it is a real random story.

The HG's have received kits to make candles.
Wax, tin cans for moulds and string for wicks. They have been told that they are not allowed to light the candles in the house. There is some discussion as to why that is. Jason thinks it is some kind of a zoning thing, or maybe because theirs is not a "real" house. Amy, the real estate expert, slyly suggests that it might be due to shoddy building materials. Amy is the one who has actually taken the time to read the instructions, and is counselling the others on how to proceed. Jason was just blundering ahead, based on instinct and logic (it's a guy thing, if you don't understand, you just don't understand) Lisa asks Jason for assistance, but Amy interrupts and says, "I'll show you, I read the instructions". Jason comes over to find the answer to Lisa's question.

Waiting for the food comp
Hgs eating, still trashing Roddy, making small talk. F4 shows what I'm pretty sure is one of the lizards out of the cage, clinging to the window in front of the camera. Lisa talks about how they look in the opening footage (they were shown the other clips from the HOH comp earlier). She says Dani looks beautiful. Jason begins to say something about the footage being in VHS and then FOTH

He tells Marci that they have tux type jackets to wear, and needs Marci's help on what to wear with it. Don't forget; everyone's been pretty casual all day, so this 15 min. is going to go by fast for them......
