CG talking about growing up, not having a lot of money. Talks a bit about how his wife gets frustrated now because material things don't "rock his world." Says his mother did a wonderful job and all of us (his brother/sister) have done well. His sister is in the airforce. His brother is college educated (masters degree).
CG says you (Erika) are college educated, right?
Erika says yea.
CG says he is not.
George talks about when he was grown up there were things he wanted to do, dental work, get rid of glasses and get contacts, go get a different hairstyle.
CG - Me and my wife have worked very, very hard. I was so excited. A long story about my daughter. She went to college. She was in her last semester and was short money. Come Christmas time I had my check coming from baseball and we will give her the money and that will be the boost she will need. She got finished up and I'm very proud of her that she was able to do that. She did a very good job and she deserves a lot of credit.
CG says Erika will like his wife, she is really neat. She has a real good time. She doesn't drink.
CG says his annivesary is coming up Sept. 2nd. |
