|Dick asks who she's afraid of hurting, her boyfriend? She says anyone. No matter what happens, someone's going to get hurt and she doesn't want to do that. ED says he's spoken to Nick and Nick said he's trying to be as respectful of her situation but he really likes her a lot.
ED says keep this in mind, this situation is different than any other in life -- it's so magnified. It's like 2 1/2 months worth of anything in real life in a few weeks. ED says she's known Nick 3 weeks and she has a life with her boyfriend. Dick says obviously she wouldn't be crying if she didn't have feelings for Nick. She needs to do what she thinks is right for her.
ED says he doesn't know Chris and he doesn't have an opinion, but she has a life with him and must love him. ED says he knows Nick and really likes him. But Daniele needs to keep in mind that he lives in Minnesota and he's a total country boy. Dick says she can't ask Nick to leave his life to move to California.
Daniele says that's not it, she's known Chris 3 years and they are absolutely perfect for each other. They are waiting at the door for each other after work. It's not boring or routine, she's happy and she wants to spend the rest of her life with him, It sucks being in here because she's an emotional person and it's really hard. She hates this.
Dick says her life is her life and she has to make a decision between that and this fake life. ED promises he understands her feelings, he's been through the same thing. But Daniele says she can't talk to Chris -- he is seeing whatever the TV portays. ED says she can speak to the live feeds. Dani says that not her. ED says telling Chris she loves him is not a big deal, just reassurance for Chris.
ED asks if something set Dani off. Nick said what's the point of talking since Dani won't give him a straight answer. ED asks why she can't. Dani said she won't bring out her life for all the cameras -- you can't be honest like that.
Dani says it sucks because Nick is so open and honest about her feelings and it makes her feel horrible. ED asks if she's told him that. She doesn't answer. He asks again and she says no. ED thinks she should.
