Dan first spoke to monica in a basic computer class. he ditched his friend to go sit next to the "prettiest girl [he's] ever seen" and then asked her how to get to microsoft word!
and apparently they didnt start dating for another 2 years after that cuz she was dating another guy (thats what i understood from that...)
memphis hit on his gf and then a week later hit on her friend. they were just friends and it was only after he dated some girl that he and her got really close and he asked to "take it to the next level" which dan mentioned is what memphis told dan when he won that pov and was taking him off the block
dan also just said that he's dated a lot of girls that were basically not very good people, but monica truly is and she has a very kind heart, besides for the fact that she's "hot and fun to hang out with." he also said that he wouldn't change a thing about her.

because "you are not a very good actor" (kudos to Memphis). They also talk about Renny crying when Michelle left even though she wanted her gone. That maybe that was her strategy, to be liked.
