He got the impression that, if Lydia got the POV and took herself off that he'd go up and go home. Natalie told him about her "fake deal" with J/J, from last night and, at first, made an F2 deal with her. However, I think he realizes that, since J/J/M/R are back on track and Russell is not going to be BD, he might be in trouble. He wasn't happy with Natalie, as she keeps talking to Jeff. He thinks she talks too much. There was a point, just before Jeff went up to bed, that Natalie was telling Jeff that Russell, went by her and said, "She's a liar (Michele)" and Natalie said, "Well you're aligned with her and he said, 'I have no choice.'" She was still trying to get Russell BD, but Jeff didn't talk about it and went inside. Kevin asked her what was said and Natalie lied about what they were talking about, she said they were talking about Michele, and I think Kevin realized she lied to him. He told Lydia he wanted to talk to Jeff tonight (too late) and ask him, if he is the replacement, is he going home. He said he needed to know that. Kevin doesn't understand why they would keep Natalie over Lydia, since Natalie is a stronger player (he's smarter than the average bear). So, he's worried about how this J/J deal with Natalie will affect him. I think he finally sees that Natalie is playing the game for herself and isn't truly loyal to anyone. He told Lydia, if he won POV, he'd take Lydia off the block. Then Natalie came out to show them the dress she was thinking of wearing tomorrow. However, you have to remember, he told Natalie, earlier today that he'd use the POV on her.
So, one of two things was going on with this talk. 1) He was really worried about his standing in the game (finally) and was thinking about trying to save himself, or 2) He was just trying to keep Lydia from going off tonight.
He still has a chance to talk to Jeff and/or Jordan tomorrow. That's why I think there is still a chance Natalie could go home. If Kevin, in trying to save himself, confesses about the LML, J/J will finally see that Natalie was the instigator of all the turmoil and is really out to get Jeff, instead of Michele.
It's still a long shot it will happen, but I would so love it, if Kevin did it.
