Kev tells Jeff he was, a good 30 mins of him doing a hard sell. So it appears Kev is not even considering entertaining the notion of Russ staying, otherwise he wouldn't have told Jeff.

Kev says she'll leave a cup in the HOH room so that she can always come back and say "I left my cup".
Jor tries to remember if Mich ever did that with her or Jeff. Jeff says he doesn't remember.
Jeff says Mich and Russ make a good paranoid team.
Jeff asks Jor if Mich went in the BR after the POV. Jeff tells Jor the story Kev said that Russ said Mich cried after the POV ceremony.
Jor says Mich did look like she had been crying. That Mich had told her she had had a guarantee to get through but not J/J have a better chance than her.
