(Over 10-15 mintues, some overlap with other updates) He doesn't want to lose who he is and do things that aren't him. When he was on the block he felt himself getting close to that, although he'd never have thrown her under the bus. Talking to Kathy and Ragan also helped him realize he should be true to who he is. Brendon thought Annie was his friend, so he is hurt, although he knows it's a game. Rachel says Brendon should confide in her whenever he needs to. Brendon is glad Rachel thinks he's genuine.
Rachel: "You're my knight in shining armor, Brendon. (laugh)"
Brendon: "I'm a romantic, so that's what I want to be."
Brendon tells Rachel she's a wonderful person and has a good heart, compassionate, so he likes her on multiple levels. She says. Brendon says outside these walls he would take Rachel on a date, and he's glad they met inside, because if he saw her in Vegas, he would be intimidated. Brendon says he was meant to go up on that block, and Rachel says she was meant to go up next to him -- it brought them closer. Brendon prepares to go out to the slip and slide. They make some joke about the US seeing his private parts, and he hopes that doesn't happen before she does. Rachel says that will never happen ... because they're waiting for marriage and and that's what everyone should do. Brendon says yes, religious or not -- especially for 15-year-old girls that might be related to him and might be watching. Brendon's niece is 9th grade class president and won 10th grade class president too so "she's following in her uncle's footsteps." |
