Ragan feels like it's been unsaid but understood, and he feels like like he needs to say it -- he would not go after Brendon and Rachel. Brendon replies he'd hope that applies to both of them (both Ragan and Matt) but Matt doesn't seem to say anything.
Ragan thinks it's not only about trusting people, but trusting people who will fight for you. Ragan thinks you can't fall off in an endurance competition just because there are a lot of people left who are on your side, because endurance is partly a psychological numbers game. Also it's unfair to just let other people get blood on their hands but not your own. Brendon agrees, mentions Dan throwing an endurance comp. Brendon will be trying to get in people's heads in an endurance comp to throw them off, though not dirty, and he wants to win the competitions. Matt claims he wouldn't throw it because he wants to hear from his wife. Brendon says everyone has their own reasons.
Ragan thinks it's important not to make nominations with a target. If people know they are a pawn they will reveal less.
Matt says you can only be not yourself in your game for a certain time until the real self comes out. Brendon agrees, he was trying to be a "dunce" when he came in the house but couldn't keep it up -- Matt agrees, says something about the way you talk or the words you use. So Brendon thinks Annie outing him was good in a way. People understand why he and Rachel connected now.
Brendon asks Matt what he thinks of Lane. Matt thinks Lane is funny. Brendon asks if Lane talked game with anyone. Matt says Lane may have done that with Annie, though Lane voted against her to show his loyalty to the house. Matt says Lane's a nice guy. Matt says he has no gauge on who Lane would target.
Ragan says he feels like there are a lot of people he has no idea who they would put up. Matt says if he won Head of Household, he'd have no idea who he'd put up. There are no alliances other than Brendon and Rachel. Brendon says he doesn't want people to think he and Rachel have an alliance with Andrew, but he felt as the week went on, people were targeting Andrew as a person instead of the saboteur.
Matt asks if Brendon cut a deal with Hayden to save Rachel. Brendon says he didn't, but Hayden was smart enough to know that if he put someone else to send Rachel home, Brendon would have gone after Hayden. Brendon says Hayden lucked out because somebody popped up at the last minute who the whole house wanted gone. |
