Bren : I am competing here you know? And I am competing my ass off. And I don't, I honestly don't think that Andrew is going to come for me, or Rachel" (Bren is sitting in a chair near the table in the HOH room, Ragan laying on HOH bed)
Ragan: I just comes to a put Brendon, where like the house, you kind of have to like factor evry vote as an equation between what you would like to see, what's logical and what the house wants. And, it makes no sense. I think that you voting to keep Andrew in the house puts a huge cloud of suspicion over you. You have to look at it through the perspective of everybody in the house, it doesn't make sense. REgardless of what you feel in your gut.....
Bren (interrupts) Nobody in this house is going to give a f how I vote. Do you think it's going to put a bigger target on my back, everybody is gunning for us...all these ppl pretending to be our friends in this house is crap! They will stab us in the back in two, two seconds. I don't trust anyone in this house, I dont' believe them. If they are telling us they are not coming after us I don't believe them. You know? We've already had some ppl that finally came out and said that yeah, if if if I had...
Ragan (interrupt) But brendon, brendon. What you are saying is like you are making assumptions bout ppl who you think who maybe coming after you instead of someone who explicitly said it.
B: Yeah, but Matt also said it last week.
Rag: The difference is is that Matt, was called into a public meeting that was set up to put all our cards on the table. That was unsoliciated. Conversations that Andrew has had with other ppl are unsoliciated. Him, like, the conversation that we just had about slop is when him saying that emerged. I wasn't like "ohh, is there anyone that you would target to be on slop?" for another time that would be unfair? It just doesn't......it's just it is what it is, you know what I mean? And I like I thought....
B (interrupt) I I I I know it's crazy, but I actually kinda believe him because I don't think, because I know, granted....
(Didn't know Brit was in room, but appareantly she is because she chimes in, she is laying in bed too)
Brit: Does he tell you he is not coming after you?
Bren: Yes!
Brit: Okay then, but he tells everybody else that he is.
Bren: And that, and that um honestly, that just might be him trying to f'n preserve himself in this house
Brit: then who do you think he would go after?
Bren: I have no idea.
Rachel comes in all smiles and without knocking through the HOH door.
Bren to Rach: Oh you goodbyes? Rach : Yeah Ragan: We got buzzed?
Bren: No, about Andrew. I had a conversation with him earlier that he needs to start coming down from the he's going to come for us.
Rach (as she grabs Matt's candy) Oh yeah
Bren: And I know it seems crazy but I actually believe him! And I think that he is going around telling ppl in the house that he is coming for us just so they, so that it takes a little bit of a target off of his back
Rach: Could be that he could do that. But (big sigh as she eats candy) I just think that
Bren: (interrupts) Bottom line for me and I am not going to lie, is keeping us together in this house
Rach: yeah
Bren: And having Kathy in this house does absolutely nothing for us.
Rag: But I don't see how keeping him in the house does
Bren: Because even if ppl think that he is a wild card, and that he is gunning, gun for....I mean...
Rag: (assertively) I am not talking about other ppl brendon I am talking about you! He is somebody that explicitly said, not just to your face, not just in a room full of ppl...
Bren: yeah, I know...
Rag: but to individuals, and not just about gunning for you but putting you on slop, getting you out of the house, breaking the two of you up vs somebody who doesn't and I am a very logical person...
Bren: (interrupt) In the conversation I had with him he seemed very genuine and I don't think he is bullshhting me, but he is basically telling me that he wants ppl to believe that we, that he doesnt' like me, that they don't target him as an alliance with us (camera shifts to Rachel who is more interested in sorting through Matt's candy to find something else to eat than listen to this convo) Bren continues: That is what he is basically telling me. I am not going to lie, I have a heart, Andrews not a bullshhter, he is not a liar
Rag But, you can't that, that can't be both ways. Because if he is doing that than he is lying to everyone (Brit says "to everyone" in chorus with Ragan.)
Bren: Which, I am not going to lie, I believe!
Rach (still chomping on reese pieces maybe and has an air head on her leg, waiting in que): but everyone is going to get pissed at him
Bren: (stammering big time) But this is, that is, but this is, trust me this is how, trust me I like kathy she is a great persn, but keeping her in the house does not protect us anymore, it does nothing for us
Brit: But neither does keeping Andrew
Bren goes to make a point but Rag stops him by saying
Rag: And in fact keeping Andrew is more of a risk of somebody who might come after you
Bren: But I really don't think that
Rag (interrupts): And who who who you just said is a wildcard and who has explicitly, repeatedly lied to everybody in the house so....
Bren: But I see that as him trying to preserve himself because everybody was, first of all, associating him with, from the very beginning, us with him and thinking that we were working with him, so I see Andrew as this crazy guy who does these stu...crazy things that goes from one end to the other of the spectrum. That thinking that is going to help him. I think that when he gave that speech, he wasn't really meaning it, he was just trying to f'n, he's Andrew! He doesn't think! I mean I don't know, when I had this talk with him earlier I felt he was being genuine and I felt that he, that he really wasn't not gunning for us and I feel that, and maybe it's crazy! but I feel like I can tell the difference with him between what is crap and what is not. And.....
Rach: Well (chewing inbetween words) I don't care if he is gunning for us or not, personally. And I disagree with a lot of what Bren is saying,A lot! But (coughs) I decided a long time ago how I am playing the game and that is my bottom line. And...I have thought of so many different scenero's, like so many different things that could happen, so many different things that could go on. And...bottom line is that if someone is gunning for me then i am gunning for them and one of us it going to take the other out and that's just inevitable. However, when someone sits in a room and listens to music and doesn't really compete, and doesnt' really help anyone and gets to eat all the time and never has it hard...
Bren: And that is another thing too
Rach: I mean, that is fine, she's a great person, she's a fighter with cancer and stuff but (big shrug of shoulders) I decided a long time ago how I was going to play this game and I told you this I was so torn, remember Ragan? I mean I keep going back and forth and I don't know, but
Ragan: I am just going to stop you on that now okay? The same logic that I used to, it wasn't a question between keeping you in the house over Annie (The feed goes to bubbles, missed some of the convo because of this)
Feed comes back with Ragan saying "At all...with what you are bringing to the table right now"
Rach (very snippy) I am not bringing anything to the table right now and it's is a unamious vote for, anyomous vote for a reason and I am just stating my opinions. I have not even decided how I am going to vote yet and I am sorry that I get you so upset Ragan I don't mean to, like, get you this emotionally charged. I don't mean it like that, like I am just saying how I decided to play a game and if you don't want me to talk about ppl then I don't even have to discuss this with you, you know? Like I am not trying to be...
Bren: (interrupts) Ya, same with you. I am not trying to get you guys riled up, I am just trying to be
Rac (talking over bren): and I understand where you guys are coming from
Bren: Because i am f'n fighting, we are f'n fighting everyday for our lives in this house...
Ragan: And you have two ppl sitting in this bed that are not gunning after you, who are compassionate to you, who are your friends, unlike a lot of ppl down there
Rach: Oh I know
Rag: And if you keep coming at me with logic, and I keep responding with something MUCH more logical then what you are throwing out....THE END! Of the conversation, that is the end. I get what you are saying but there's no point in pushing it forward, because what you are saying...your logic, is no where near as logical as what I am saying and response.
Bren just smirks and shurgs
Ragan: It's not!
Bren (rubbing chin): I mean, eh, er, um
Ragan: I get, I am just saying this out of a place of concern for the two of you
Bren: But logic, logical, logic, but logic would say not to keep ppl who are not competing and not playing this game and will float all the way to the end. But and, that does happen.
Rag: I want to know where I stand with ppl. And with Andrew I don't know that.
Bren: Andrew would not, Andrew would never, you think Andrew would put....
Rag: I think, from what you are hinting at, Andrew is the type of person who would stand up in front of a room of ppl and say "I want the two of you gone" and then go to ppl (Brit talks over rag and says "and then go to you) as individuals and say I want them gone, I want them gone, I want them on slop, I don't want them, I don't like them, I can't stand Rachel and then come up to you and say, no I am cool with you (Brit again talks over Ragan and says "I would never come after you) It doesnt' make sense.
Bren: I know, but I don't think that Andrew makes sense
Rag: and the more logic that you try to make of it, the more suspicious you seem
Bren (rubbing chin still) I I I just have compassion for him and I
Rag: I have compassion for him too, but those positions aren't mutually exclusive! But I have more compassion for the two of you!
Rach: And I appreciate that Ragan
Bren: Yeah, no, Yeah I don't want....
Rag: And my fustration is coming from of place of....
Brit (interrupts) You not having compassion for yourselves
Rag: Right
Bren: I know but (Brit, Rag, and Bren all talk over eachother, can't make it out until Bren finally gets louder and says "right right I know I knw I know)
Bren: I know, I got it! I know you two aren't gunning for us but all these ppl downstairs that keep and I mean.....
Brit: AND ANDREW!!!!!
Bren: (finishes his thought) They are waiting for an oppertunity (Brit looks to Ragan as if to say Oh my god, how is he not getting it)
Rach: Brendon, if Andrew is going up to ppl and said stuff the bottom line...
Ragan says loudly over Rach: Andrew is being the most explicit about it!
Rach (finish thought): Then like, you can't trust someone like that
Bren (meekly): I guess, I know I am sorry
Rach: And there is nothing more to say about it
Bren: Yeah, I know but the conversation that I had with him I just
Rach: I know and that is fine and everyone is entitled to their own opinion
Rag: And the reason why I am gettin gfired up right now is bevause I have spent the last day defending you, getting upset with Andrew for the stuff he said explicitly about the two of you, having conversations with other ppl....I know that other ppl are gunning after them but I am not jumping on that bandwagon like...you know what I mean?
Bren: Yeah
Rach: No I do and I appreciate that so much Ragan
Bren: I appreciate it to and I don't want you to think that I don't
RAch" and I never meant to get you in this mo...like I don't want you to think badly of me cuz I, like personally, I .....
Bren(interrupts): Like it's even hard for me,like I know....
Rach (interrupts) I was just explaining my opinion ad we have had this talk numerous times
Rag: Right, t
Rach: That doesn't mean that I...
Brit: I think the cloud of suspicion that ultimately led to andrews demise came from that agrument
Bren: What do you mean?
Brit: I think the reason that the house ultimately wants andrew out is because of statement like that
Bren: Oh because of him saying one thing and then coming to us and saying something else?
Brit: Because of him saying I am going after brendon and rachel and then brendon saying I am voting to keep him in the house
Bren: Oh
Brit to ragan: Would you agree?
Rag: Yeah. Well brendon, no sorry andrew was from what I gathered, was a sure shot to stay in the house until that meeting
Brit: ntil that veto meeting
Bren: yeah, well see that....
Brit: and what I gather
Bren: well see I had that conversation with him today and I don't know, I just feel, maybe you are right, maybe maybe this
Rach: And maybe you are being stupid brendon
Bren: I just feel bad for the guy, I am sorry
Rag: I am gong to give you my recommendation, my recommendation is truly, I don't think anything is going to change this vote
Bren: yeah
RAg; It would have to take THE HAND OF GOD coming in and doing something to change this vote, so listen to what I am saying. truly the smartest thing you could do right now is save yourself, it is what it is. if andrew would not have done any of the historyonics then he would be here tomorrow
Bren: See it is hard cuz I want competitors here, I want ppl to play the game, anyone that floats or tries to go under the f'n radar, I don't want here. Period. Ad that is how and that is why...
Rach: There is always next week Brendon...
BRen: I know, I know, i know, (whispers) i know. yeah I don't know
Rach: And you don't know, Kathy could win HOH next week, this week, tomorrow
Bren: yeah
Rach: She like legitimately could and then she'll probably put us up
Bren: Why would she put us up?
Rach Why wouldnt' she?
Bren: Why would she have any reason to put us up?
RAch: Because her best friends, um, want to put us up
Bren: Oh, her new best friend you mean?
Rach: I mean, I don't want to talk or say antyhing
Bren: yeah Well again that is just ppl flip flopping around here and ppl being ingenuine and ppl being you know? like I said, and that is what I am saying I don't know. It's hard! Cuz you know I feel like we have more here to lose than anybody else and everyone is against us
Rag: HOW???
Bren (stammering) Cuz everybody is, er um ehhh, Ragan man come on!
Rag: (angry) You don't have anymore to lose here than anyone else in this house!
Bren: yeah, I know. I am saying her and I, not to lose, but her and I, still , but
Rag: You two are in a unique situation and rachel and I had this convo yesterday. Y'all are definately have, and I was the first person to speak up at that table and say that y'all have a shht storm coming at you every competition you have to fight like no others. but you also have to take the advantages with the disadvantages, it doesn't just cut one way. You have very unique advantages to being in the situation that you have that the rest of us don't have. So it sux, but it's a lot like what I imagine being HOH is like you have these distinct advantages of being HOH but then you have these serious disadvantages to being HOH b/c you are going to make yourself a target by putting the ppl you put up andstuff like that. It's the same, it's the same, you know the coin has two sides, but it doesnt' mean you have more to lose in this game than everybody else
Rach and bren speak over eachother Rach: I don't think he meant it like that and Bren: It just infuriates me thinking that somebody can float their way to the, f'n....
Brit: so you are more upset about floaters than you are ppl that are gunning after you? (Brit is shaking her head in disbelief)
Bren: No, both of them make me just as upset, both of them make me just as upsert, seriously, cuz the floaters are gunning for us too! Andrew has been more vocal about it, I am not going to lie, but I am not going to, other ppl are saying it behind our backs and ppl say something and I find out real fast! So you know? You know...it's like, it's not like, it's like what is the lesser of the two evils in this situation. It's not like wanting one to stay over the other, it's the lesser of two evils. and okay I know, Andrew he said one thing to me and i know maybe that isn't a good decision to try and keep him. But it's hard when I know when kathy rolls around next week, no one will be gunning for Kathy, they'll be coming for us
Brit: So you think if you keep andrew that... (Matt walks in, the all look at door and the resume) basically you would have someone to throw under the bus later
Bren: NO!!! I would never throw Andrew under the bus
Brit" Well I am, you have some esle in this game that has a bigger target than yourself
Bren: I have someone else in this game that has a target yeah. I hate to say it but its....I mean, we are a couple, there are other couples in this house and no one is targeting them! Everbody is targeting us. In week five you are going to see all these ppl who in alliances start turning on eachother, you know what I mean? So the game, it will change really fast. but we have to get there, I have to make it that far, her and I have to make it that far. I am going to fight as hard as I possbily can to win hoh.
Ragan: well duhhhh! (laughs) of course! long pause
Bren: like you said (to rachel) I mean, I like kathy but she was hanging up here with you all week. If you wouldn't have won HOH, you even for the fact that you think she would even put us up sux, you know what I mean?
Rach "I mean I don't know who else she would put up, she would put us up cuz she wouldn't want to piss anyone off and I mean it is just
Bren: And that means a floater is just as dangerous as someone who is gunning for us. I mean a floater is not gong to
Rag" but a floater is also a target in this game
Bren: (anger) No it's not! no there are not!!!
Rag: yeah, there have been several
Bren: there has been one person in here who has made a rational decision about putting up a floater, there is no one else that is going to. I guarantee you anyone down there wins (points to him and rach) we are not floaters. They are not thinking about the ppl that need to leave cuz they are not competing they are thinking about the ppl that are possibly going to win competitons

Rach: Bren I think you should just drop the whole andrew thing

Rach: I think it's just, like, ...
Bren: I am sorry, I know we both gone through this on a daily basis and it sucks cause honestly I don't feel comfortable with any situation really, but you know?
Rach: um hmm, but I mean...
Bren: i have more respect for somebody that is saying they are coming for us, I am not going to lie. If someone tells me they are coming for me. Okay, you have been open about it, you've told me. I have more respect for someone that says they are oming for me than for the ppl that pretend they are friends, hang out with us, be cool with us, then say sorry, it's what the house wants
Brit: But you believe he is not actually going for you
Bren: I mean, I don't know to tell you the truth. Could he lie to everyone else and be truthful with me? that is a possibility
Rach: that is not a possibility brendon that is being stupid. that is jsut like when I got mad at,like why, I mean I don't want to bring up old news, but that is why Britney and I talked about Matt last week and I mean, I am sorry ragan I am not trying to put Matt in a bad way, but that is being stupid for you to say that
Bren: Ok, that is fine, and I didn't, it doesn't neccessarily mean that I am going to vote that way you know?
Rach: Cuz that is someone that is talking to everyone and saying to ragan he wants to put you on slop and saying that saying he wants us out and saying someone else saying he wants us out and then saying to us he wants to keep us and that we are stupid enough to believe him
Bren: I know but I honestly think andrew doesn't have as much logic, it doesn't make, but you know, it is whatever its a lost cause. If no one is going to keep him here than it is not even worth fighting over anyways, so I don't know, Like i said, it's just , er um eh, it angers me more, I'd rather see someone that tries to gun for us and wins, than someone that is going to float and gun for us
Rach: Are you and Andrew the long lost friends? (stern look from brendon) I am just kidding brendon, huhhhh
Bren: (very angry): Seriously, don't even joke about shht like that in this house because ppl start to think about it
Rach (whine) Okayyyyy
pause, then bren (very angry) No its just if f'n angers me to think that I can go this week or before someone that is just going to float along.....
Rach: well (talking over brendon) you are just going to ahve to fight, that is all you can do
Bren:....their way in this game. I KNOW!!!!!! I can only do so much, you can only do so much and all those ppl down there are not going to target floaters, guarantee it! they are going to target competitors and those floaters are going to be in the final four. And they are going to say the same thing "how did dot dot dot make ti all the way til the end" Cuz when rennie and jerry were in there, I would never have guessed
Rach: Well, they didn't really float
Bren: Rennie and Jerry?????
Rach: I mean, they won challanges......they did!
Bren: Jerry won one HOH
Rach: No Jerry won two (ragan says two) and he won a POV
Bren: Either way, the HOH winner at the end
Rach (whisper) but brendon....just
Bren (angry) Okay! fine! I will drop it
Rach: the most important, there is nothing we can do about this week we need to think about tomorrow night, that is what is important
Bren: well I mean bottom line is that everyone, well, (looks at rag and brit) no offense to you guys, I do think you want us here, I don't think you are going to put us up and I don't think that either one of you is going to turn on me, I am talking about all those ppl down there they are only looking out for themselves, they dont' give a shht, so you know?
Rach: but nobody in this game is playing with four ppl, with six ppl, that is just not how this house is workig
Bren: yeah, but there are a couple of ppl that are playing together...there are two
Rach I agree
Bren they are not targets
RAch, yeah, I now. but they are targets, for me
Bren is rubbing his temple during a long pause in convo
Brit: I think that andrew should seem like a worthwhile sacrifice for you regardless of how you feel about him going home, because last week everyone would have thought it would have been you this week
RAch: yeah, it's true
Rag: yup!
Rach and if Andrew would have won that POV brendon, and not me or you, then it would have been us
brit Yeah
Rag Yup and that was one questions
Bren I know, I got that and that is going to be us every single week here
Brit: That is him folding one less time than he should have and that is where the logic doesn't come in that you would want him to have that chance again, you know what I mean?
RAg: yeah, and here is another logical component to consider. Let's say that somebody downstairs get HOH and puts the two of you up, you want to play against kathy or andrew
Bren: i don't want to be in that situation
Rag: I don't want you in that situation eithre, but it is a very real possibility. and if you are saying that so many ppl down there are automatically going to be like bren and rach, bren and rah, because that is the bandwagon mentality, you want everything that you cold possibily have to help you win the POV and Kathy helps you win the POV. the likelihood that she is drawn compared to andrew, helps you
Bren: (stammering) I have also, honestly, what I have been thinking is about how quickly ppl f'n change in this game from day to day, you know. ppl are against you one day then on your side the next day
Raach: You are on big brother
Bren (very short) I know, that is what I am saying!!!
Rag: FYI, you have had ppl that have been pretty consistant with you I mean
RAch: we have been lucky enough to have ragan
Bren: yeah, I know and I agree and Like I said I appreciate having all those ppl here yu know
Brit and that is the one thing no one bargined for with me and rach was that rach would put me on th eblock and somehow we would come out of it friends
