Adam and Keith talked game in the backyard around 9:30 p.m. BBT (PDT).
Adam: "What's up?"
Keith (whispering): "Dominic and Cassi. They've got a deal with Brendon and Rachel. They're the only ones not worried about going up or anything. You notice that? And they spend so much time together. I think they possibly could have made a deal."
Adam: "It could be right..."
Keith (interrupting): "Don't you think?"
Adam: "...it could be paranoia."
Keith: "Huh?"
**Adam exhales**
Keith: "What do you think, no?"
**Adam exhales again**
Keith: "Hmm?"
Adam: "No, I'm thinking, I'm thinking about that."
Keith: "They are the only two not worried about them having the POV and all that stuff." (hard to hear exactly what Keith said there)
Adam: "Definitely something to think about. Again, I'll see what happens. And all the conversations I've had with Dom don't lead me to believe that, but, then again, sometimes what happens with what you're seeing and you're hearing. I mean, I definitely, I've told him (Dominic) to watch it with her (Cassi) because..."
Keith (interrupting): "But you know that they've stopped, they've cut a deal because they know they are safe."
Adam: "Again, whatever happens after the veto... and then we take it from there. And no use, actions speak louder than words. If they (Dominic/Cassi) have a deal, they (Brendon/Rachel) still have to come through with it."
Keith: "Well?"
Adam: "What people say and what people do -- I'm more of a believer in what people do."
Keith: "Mmm hmm."
Adam: "But dude, I definitely hear you and I definitely thought of that, but we'll see what happens."
*pause in conversation*
Adam: "Shelly and I have been saying those two (Dominic and Cassi) are awfully chummy, and I told him (Dominic) to be careful with that because, Brendon/Rachel, Jeff/Jordan, couples get targeted!"
Keith: "Who?"
Adam: "Like with Jeff and Jordan & Brendon and Rachel. In the game, couples get targeted. So I was like, be careful with that, because that might turn out to hurt you more than help you. But, what you say makes perfect sense. We shall see. But, if that happens, then we'll see who has whose back."
Adam went on to remind Keith that he told Keith this morning to "keep it chill" and that Keith wanted to out Lawon, and that Adam had told him "not now" and instead to wait until after nominations to campaign.
Adam: "All that did today made your target bigger"
Keith: "Why?"
Adam: "Because it causes drama in the house."
Keith: "But I was trying to save myself."
Adam: "You don't even know if you need to be saved. There will be time for that. Nominations are just nominations. After the veto (ceremony), then it's on the block. After that, we shall see."
Adam did a monster voice, repeating his last three words: "WE SHALL SEE!"
Adam reiterated the mistake Keith made trying to be saved when he didn't even know for sure that he would need to be saved (with the veto ceremony still to come). Adam pointed out that Rachel said she might be using the veto and that Keith wouldn't want to change her mind. Adam implied that Keith's behavior today might have impacted her decision. Adam said, until the veto ceremony, they didn't know. He told Keith not to live his life on "what ifs" (regarding Keith's Dominic/Cassi theory) and to relax.
Adam said that Keith going after Lawon might not have helped Keith as much as it hurt Lawon, since all it did was create doubts in the house (and on the rookie side). Adam told Keith he needs to keep "family business in house" on this and that Keith's actions hurt the rest of the house and "the rest of us" (meaning the rookie side).
