Dan tells Jenn she's lost weight. She appreciates the comment.
Joe lost 15 pounds.
Ian's back at 125 lbs. after going down to 110 or so in the first couple weeks.
Ian's dad was deployed in Okinawa. Dan wonders if he'll go back and Ian says probably not b/c he really hates flying.
Dan: That's odd since he was in the Air Force.
Ian says his dad regrets leaving the air force & woulda been a lifer. But then Ian never would have been born. His dad did not attend college.
Dan: if you won, do you think you would take him on a trip.
Ian says yeah, yeah, I'd offer him, yeah, for sure.
Dan: anything your mom would want, you think?
Ian says he was given instructions to try to get a vacation if possible.
Joe: well, you blew that one.
Ian says he'd prob take them on a trip. If he had won the Maui trip, he'd've probably just let his parents go. Prob would get his brother an automobile.
Dan wonders if Ian'd fly his brother to ComicCon. Apparently there's one in Pittsburgh, too. Ian forgets when that one is.
Dan: Do they have Pokemon at that stuff?
Ian: yeah.
Dan says he wants to go to E3 which is in LA.
Ian would do that and go to ComicCon. If it's in Pittsburgh in the fall, he's going, for sure, no question. For sure.

Dan says that they have a lot to catch up on when they leave. Like the new NCAA game on the PS3.
Dan: the pennant race is going on right now.
Ian says if he could get one snippet of news, that'd be it.
Ian says this year they have 2 wild cards this year. 1 game wild card playoff. Ian says the Pirates were close to the lead in their division when he left. He thinks they caught up by the time he was in sequester.
Dan: that's brutal, one game? A 3 game series maybe.
Dan now talking about overtime rules in the NFL.
Dan wonders if they're one or 2 games into the NFL season now. Joe says definitely one.
Joe says his wife probably drafted a team for him in fantasy football. |
