(I missed the beginning of this convo. I've been told Kail asked Dustin about his close relationship with Amber and said it seemed only natural that it would become romantic. Kail apparently doesn't know what being gay means.)
Dustin thinks by being gay he can have true friendships with women. When there's a romantic thing, you hold parts of yourself back but he doesn't have to with women. And with men, he can have those friendships too.
Kail asks if straight men get nervous around him. Dustin says no. He's not very flambouyant so straight men view him as one of the guys. Dustin says he doesn't make his sexuality an issue so it doesn't become an issue. Dustin says relationships are different with everyone. He might come across someone who does get nervous but all the guys in the house are cool with it
Kail said one time she was shoe shopping and there was a gay guy and he picked out the perfect shoes for her and she said he was the best and she would remember him for it.
Dustin said there are some gay men who butcher the fashion world. Where he lives, people want to be so trendy and push the envelope that they push the stereotype envelope way too far.
Dustin mentions how Zach does fashion. Kail couldn't believe it. Dustin said he could. Zach created a brand and Dustin says that's what's important -- fashion itself is secondary to the brand. Kail thinks his logo is nice. |
