Lane also there. Earlier they talked about Brendon's last name (Villegas) and how some people mispronounce it as "villages." Ragan asked in California? Brendon said yes. Ragan thought that was ignorant. Ragan talked about how there is a big "Latin" population in Texas but his dad was Jewish from Philadelphia and would over pronounce Spanish words. Ragan's dad loved Mexican food and was interested in Mexican culture. They all said they like Mexican food, except Brendon who is kind of sick of it after eating rice and beans every day growing up. Ragan praised Tex-Mex, especially the hole in the wall places. Britney talked about the Mexican restaurants where she is being owned and run by people who immigrated from Mexico, cheap, and delicious. Brendon said that it's weird when he sees non-Mexicans at a Mexican restaurant, and Britney pointed out Brendon worked at a sushi bar. Ragan laughed. Brendon said he wasn't a sushi chef though, and the place he worked at was different. Ragan chimed in too about it how it's not a normal sushi place. Brendon said none of the sushi chefs were Asian.
They talked about most waiters in L.A. being actors and models. They said Brendon was an actor/model/physicist/reality star -- Brendon said M-list, and then asked what celebrity list they were? If Kathy Griffin is D list ...? Then the discussion of Kathy Griffin started. Ragan thinks she is B-list. Britney loves Kathy Griffin but didn't think she was on the covers of magazines so considers her C-list. Ragan saw her on the cover of Us Weekly. Brendon thinks Jennifer Aniston went from A to B list, but Kathy Griffin went from D to B list. |
