NOTE: The following happened from roughly 3:00-3:15 p.m. BBT/PDT (this took some piecing together from F1/F2 in the padded/have-not room and F3/F4 in the main living room)
In the padded room: Keith, Lawon, and Shelly were talking.
In the living room area: Jeff was talking with Jordan, Cassi, and Dominic. Jeff and Dominic were tossing a ball back and forth.
Jeff began talking loud enough where the people in the padded room could hear his voice. Other voices could be heard but were a bit muffled compared with Jeff's. Shelly moved up next to the door to listen in on their conversation as best as she could. Over the next 15 minutes or so, she listened at times and moved away from the door at times.
In the living room, Jeff talked about people who had watched Big Brother "too much" and thought they were the masterminds, but that they were the ones getting their puppet strings cut.
Dominic asked Jeff if he had Jeff's vote if he and Adam went up (as a team); Jeff deflected by asking if Dominic really thought that he and Adam would be going up.
Dominic didn't answer that, but instead said that he and Jeff never talk game. Jeff said that he and Jordan tried to in the pool a few days ago and that Jeff took from their conversation that Dominic would put him and Jordan up if he won HOH. Dominic denied that (his voice raising an octave as he made his denial), but both Jeff and Jordan were rather adamant that they believed he did.
Because Jeff was speaking louder at that point, all three of the people in the padded room appeared to be able to hear him, and Keith particularly reacted as if they were hearing valuable information.
Jeff told Dominic "we know what's going on". Dominic said he never said it, but Jordan said that he might not have said it but it was implied.
Dominic asked Jeff what it would take for Jeff to not put Dominic up if Jeff wins HOH tomorrow. Jeff said that Dominic would have to keep him (and Jordan) safe. Jeff said if a deal was made for this week, Dominic might still have to go up but that he wouldn't be the one going home (implying that Adam would be voted out). Jeff said if there wasn't a deal cut, Dominic would be going home.
Dominic asked about if Adam was to cut a similar deal with Jeff and Jordan. Jeff: "Maybe he did, maybe he didn't."
Dominic asked Jeff who he and Jordan were "playing this game" with. Jeff didn't answer the question, instead responding that it's different for him because if he and Jordan go up, one of them has to leave. Jeff said that he and Jordan didn't want to have one person home and the other in the jury house. Jeff said that Dominic can make deals, implying that he couldn't since it would mean Jordan going home.
[Rachel entered at this point, but the game talk continued.]
Jeff (to Dominic): "To you, your partner (Adam) is ultimately expendable."
Dominic: "Right."
Jeff: "So it's a different game for me Rachel, Brendon, and Jordan."
Rachel then asked what they were talking about -- Jeff and Dominic both told her that they were talking game. Dominic complained that no one ever talks game to him.
Jordan said that they tried talking game with him in the pool the same time as Rachel said, "Wait, there's alliances?"
Jeff said that there are no deals being made and that they were just "talking openly". Dominic agreed with him. Jordan tried to bring back up the pool conversation; Rachel said (jokingly): "What, people make deals in this game?"
Dominic (tongue-in-cheek) said he's honest and that everyone is honest.
Jeff: I don't think everyone is honest.
Jordan said she only lied in BB11 when it came down to the final three. "You have to" at that point, she said.
Rachel said that it's different for the newbies since they came in alone whereas the veterans had an existing partner.
Dominic: "What if I want to get a partner?"
Jeff: "Then you have to get rid of the one you have now."
The veterans razzed Dominic saying he was trying to have a showmance with Cassi.
Rachel reiterated the point about how the veterans and newbies had different situations.
After some joking around about non-game stuff (and throwing the ball), Jeff told Dominic that he knows "everything that's going on".
Jeff joked that Rachel couldn't talk game without Brendon. Soon after, Brendon entered and there was some joking around about Brendon and Rachel having separate bank accounts and when/if they would get a joint banking account.
Rachel again talked about the veterans and rookies having to play differently because the veterans had a partner with a prior relationship who they came in with and the newbies didn't.
The main room conversation then drifted to non-game talk and prenups. Shelly then peeked out the door to see the people in the main room; it appeared that she did so unnoticed. Soon thereafter, Shelly exited the have not room and walked into the main area acting as if she hadn't heard any of the conversation that had been going on in there.
About two minutes after that (approx. 3:16-3:17 p.m. BBT/PDT) Keith found Adam in the kitchen and told him that "your boy" (Dominic) is a rat and briefly filled him in on the overheard conversation. It was hard to hear precisely what was said as Adam had the water running in the kitchen sink. Keith then left the kitchen area. |
