NOTE TO READER FROM TRANSCRIPTIONIST: Please note that my transcripts are USUALLY from the previous day's conversations. Sometimes you'll notice a morning conversation transcript posted the same day, but in the evening. However, you will also notice transcripts from conversations held two or three days prior to the present time. It just depends on what my professional schedule entails each day. Also, most transcripts will be posted in the mornings when most, if not all, of the houseguests are still sleeping. It gives you, the fans of BB and Jokers Updates, something to read while nothing is going on in the house. I am a court reporter so I work during the day quite often, but I record the feeds and transcribe some of the conversations to give you a very in-depth and real feel for what's occurring in the house. I am a certified machine shorthand reporter. I certify that the transcripts I produce are true, correct and verbatim to the best of my professional ability. Thank you.
September 4, 2005 - 11:09 p.m. BBT.
APRIL, HOWIE & JANELLE - STARTS OFF WITH HOWIE ASKING APRIL WHO SHE THINKS MAGGIE WOULD PICK TO GO TO THE END WITH HER, APRIL OR IVETTE.
AFTERWARDS, APRIL TELLING MAGGIE HER CONVERSATION WITH HOWIE AND APRIL - LET'S SEE IF SHE CONTRADICTS HERSELF.
HOWIE: I mean, personally I think she'd pick Ivetta over you. I mean, personally, I could be wrong.
APRIL: Yeah.
HOWIE: I don't know. I mean, this is just going by like you said, the Eric thing and everything else.
APRIL: Uh-huh.
HOWIE: I mean, I've been wrong many times in this game.
APRIL: There's no way around -- you know what I'm saying? There's no other way around it.
HOWIE: Well, yeah, if you win, you take one down. That's how --
APRIL: Well, if -- if she wins -- if she wins the Veto -- I mean, if you win HOH, let's say you put up --
JANELLE: Ivette and Maggie.
APRIL: Okay. Let's say Maggie comes off, I go up.
JANELLE: You'd go home.
APRIL: Yeah. I mean, I would think. I don't know.
JANELLE: Yeah.
APRIL: I don't know what she would do. I just don't really know. I haven't asked her.
JANELLE: If you came off --
APRIL: Huh?
JANELLE: If you came off the block -- or you -- if Maggie came off the block, then you go up --
HOWIE: She's got to make a decision there, too.
JANELLE: Or Ivette came off the block, you go.
APRIL: Oh, yeah. I know Ivette would not keep -- yeah, Ivette wouldn't. No way. No way. No way. I -- that's -- I mean, what can I do? You know? I mean, I'm assuming you don't like Ivette. Is that correct? Is that the one?
JANELLE: No, I don't.
APRIL: Huh?
JANELLE: No, I don't like her.
APRIL: (Laughs.)
JANELLE: I can't stand the bitch.
APRIL: You talk to her and stuff, so I don't know. I'm not a good reader of people.
JANELLE: I live with her. I don't have to like her.
APRIL: (Laughs.) I don't know. I mean, I really -- it makes me sick. I don't know. It makes me sick at my stomach, having to even -- you know? But I know that if I -- yeah, I mean, I would keep Maggie here if I had that choice.
HOWIE: Right.
APRIL: I've got to fight my ass off next week. That's the bottom frigging line. Bottom frigging line.
HOWIE: Yep.
APRIL: There are no --
HOWIE: At this stage of the game, yeah.
APRIL: Maybe I'll get balls and have to ask Maggie, but I just felt bad even putting Maggie in that position, you know?
HOWIE: Yeah.
JANELLE: Did you ask Maggie who she's putting up if she wins it?
HOWIE: We don't know who's here yet. I mean --
APRIL: Yeah. No, I haven't even --
JANELLE: You and me?
APRIL: I don't know. I haven't asked her. Probably. Then I would hope that you would f*cking come off. You know, something.
JANELLE: I would knock that bitch's ass out so quick.
APRIL: Huh? What did you say?
JANELLE: I said, I'll come off the block.
APRIL: That's the one deal that sucks for her [Janelle], is that when Jennifer -- the week that Jennifer got HOH, it secured the votes.
HOWIE: For sequester.
APRIL: Yeah.
HOWIE: Right.
APRIL: So no matter what, which sucks for her [Janelle], it really does --
HOWIE: Sucks for who?
APRIL: It sucks for Janelle, because if she made it in the final 2, it wouldn't -- I mean, I don't care if somebody went up to Jennifer in sequester and said -- made up something and said, "Maggie, this whole time, her name was Joe and she lied to" -- you know what I'm saying?
HOWIE: Right.
APRIL: It's like -- it doesn't -- and that's what sucks for her. It's not the -- is there a way around it? Who f*cking knows? This is f*cking SOS.
HOWIE: Exactly.
JANELLE: America has actually had -- they voted, actually, on the winner before in Season 1.
HOWIE: Really?
APRIL: They always say that if, like -- how do we know if a jury member dropped out? If a jury member drops out, America --
HOWIE: We know Jennifer didn't. Ray-Ray probably is still there. Beau and James -- I don't know if anybody has yet. Who knows? Who knows?
APRIL: Who knows? I mean --
HOWIE: Daniel proposes to her, "Let's go and get married."
APRIL: Yeah. She would leave. So, I mean, it's not -- whenever I say that, I don't -- please don't take -- me in saying that, that's not being mean.
HOWIE: No, no. No, no. Listen, it's reality.
APRIL: I don't want to be rude at all. Yeah, it's just --
HOWIE: You're more fluid now. You get to the point and you don't blah, blah, blah.
(Laughter.)
HOWIE: You're getting better.
JANELLE: Yeah.
(Boring talk, April talking about wanting to see her family and wanting everything to be over.)
APRIL: What do you -- and you might not want to tell me, and you don't have to. (Whispers) What was the SOS that you were about to tell me?
JANELLE: Well, I'm not going to say.
APRIL: Oh, okay. That's totally fine. Yeah, I mean, it doesn't -- doesn't matter. You just -- I mean, who knows? Things change.
HOWIE: (Whispers) Do you know about Maggie's ^ wigit [flying banner] or you don't know?
APRIL: Maggie's what?
HOWIE: The wigit.
APRIL: What's that? Wigit?
(Janelle and Howie point up. April looking up on the ceiling and still doesn't understand.)
HOWIE: You know, the things we're not supposed to talk about around here since Day 1 if they happen and they lock us in. The wigit that she saw? Can't talk about it.
(Janelle and Howie point up. April looking up on the ceiling and doesn't understand.)
APRIL: (Whispers) What the f*ck? The banner?
HOWIE: Yeah.
APRIL: Oh. (Shakes head.)
JANELLE: She doesn't know. She won't tell you?
APRIL: Huh-uh. I don't -- I think she said she didn't see anything.
JANELLE: Oh.
[Fish.]
APRIL: ...makes sense.
HOWIE: You think America knows ahead of time.
APRIL: Uh-huh. Yeah, because I --
MALE INTERCOM VOICE: Hey, guys.
(Not sure, but it sounds like the voice is only in the area where they're talking, so possibly Maggie and Ivette couldn't hear.)
APRIL: Yeah.
MALE INTERCOM VOICE: Hey. Just to give you a head's up --
[Fish.]
(Boring discussion coming back from fish. Wondering if they're going to get a shopping spree. Howie says with four girls in the house, yeah. They're waiting to get the last guy out first.)
APRIL: Well, I know that Howie is leaving, and I'm very sad. I know -- I'm very, very sad. That's why I -- you saw tears come to my eyes on the -- you just feel bad. You know what I'm saying? You feel bad.
HOWIE: Oh, yeah. That's the way it is.
APRIL: I mean, there's no -- I mean, I'm sure she [Janelle] -- you know, she won it, but I'm sure she has a heart and she feels bad.
HOWIE: Yeah, absolutely.
APRIL: You know? It's like you have to be happy for whoever and sad --
HOWIE: I'm happy she won it. She earned the right to move on.
(Talking about if you lose a competition, you lose the game from this point forward.)
HOWIE: I mean, yeah, you'll be mad at first, but you'll get over it. I mean, if I would have went out, like, for example, the week that, like, you know, the sh*t hit the fan, and you know, and it wasn't James, and Kaysar and I got put up, I would have been f*cking livid for a long time.
APRIL: Yeah.
HOWIE: Like, the wrap party, I don't think I would have talked. I would have been p*ssed.
APRIL: I know, yeah.
HOWIE: Like I already said, if I don't win that week, someone else does, I lost. Send me home. That's the game. I lost the game. I'm fine with that. If I got thrown out of here with some treachery, back-stabbing or lies, I'd be p*ssed off.
APRIL: How it happened -- the thing that happened last week, how I looked at is there were prom -- there was a promise broken, and all I could do was repay that promise. (NOTE: I thought she got rid of James because that's what Jennifer and Maggie wanted, not to make up for what they did to Kaysar.)
HOWIE: You did. You did. I said that.
APRIL: I felt like dog sh*t. Don't even think for a minute I was like (imitating sneaky laughing). You know, I didn't -- I didn't look at that as being funny whatsoever.
HOWIE: I said to Janie, "Did we dodge a bullet this week? Yeah, but at the same time, you're making amends for what was supposed to take place three or four weeks ago."
APRIL: Yeah, I felt horrible. Yeah, I mean, it's like --
HOWIE: Right. Because that's the way it should have been three or four weeks ago, so, you know --
APRIL: Well, look at it. I mean, it could have -- last week one of y'all would have gone home. You know what I'm saying? Let's say Janelle would have gone home last week, and then she wouldn't be here this week, and you wouldn't be, and now you're here another week. (NOTE: April seems to not understand if Kaysar wasn't backdoored, there would still be another original S6 in the house. She is insinuating that she and Jennifer are the reasons Janelle and Howie are still in the game.)
HOWIE: Maggie would have went home that week.
JANELLE: Week 5.
HOWIE: She would have went home. She was gone that week.
APRIL: What week?
HOWIE: James was saying, "Maggie, put her up." Instead we put Sarah and James. Maggie would have gone.
APRIL: Oh, yeah.
HOWIE: And here she is, a shot at the title.
APRIL: It will be two girls.
HOWIE: Yep.
APRIL: I don't know. I just -- I'm trying not to even -- I just never thought that I would be right here, so now that I'm here, I'm like, "Oh, my God." Like, my stomach hurts.
HOWIE: I said a long time ago nobody will put you up and you'll win. I said that would happen.
APRIL: You're such a dork. You're such a dork.
(Talking about the Veto comp with the facial features and how it was very difficult to figure some of them out.)
APRIL: To be honest, like, if I would have known that it would have been on Season 5, and I would have honestly been studying things, I know I would have done better. (NOTE: Another insinuation that Janelle had an unfair advantage.) I'm not saying I would have beat Janelle.
JANELLE: It doesn't really matter.
APRIL: I know you can't preplan, like, which ones are going to be together, but you can look at -- you know what I'm saying? You can look at certain things. Would I have beat 2:30, f*ck -- probably not, but I think I could have stepped up and done a little bit better.
HOWIE: I could have studied that game for year and I wouldn't have beat 2:30.
APRIL: Yeah, that was good.
HOWIE: It was awesome.
APRIL: That's what I'm saying. Like, you -- if somebody wins, like -- and not that -- I'm not saying that anyone is, but like, when people win, you can't get f*cking p*ssed they f*cking won.
HOWIE: Exactly.
APRIL: And that's why whenever -- you know, Janelle wins these luxury items, I'm happy. You know? But at the same time, I tell her, I was like, "Don't ever say 'I never win anything' because it does p*ss people off." (Laughs.) You know what I'm saying? I mean, I don't give a sh*t. It's like --
HOWIE: I could care the f*ck less.
APRIL: -- if you win, you win. Would I like to win? Abso-freaking-lutely. Did I? No. I keep forgetting I even won the 3,000.
HOWIE: Yeah.
(More talk about prizes and competitions.)
APRIL: I think I need to go poop. Okay. I'm going to go upstairs. Okay. I love y'all. (Hugs both Howie and Janelle, then whispers to Janelle) If you need people to talk to after he leaves -- or I might be the one that leaves -- please understand you can talk to me.
JANELLE: Of course.
(End of Transcription.)
APRIL GOES UPSTAIRS TO TELL THE HOH GIRLS ABOUT HER CONVERSATION WITH JANELLE AND HOWIE - IVETTE IS NOT PRESENT
APRIL: ...Howie that -- and it sounded like she was -- they didn't include. They didn't say me, but it sounded more like you and her, that Janelle should take off Howie, pretty much. Basically what Ivette was saying, should I ask Howie to try to get Janelle to take him off. Well, she approached him with that idea. Apparently -- I didn't ask when, but she approached him with it, and it sounded like, more or less -- I don't think she said like, me and Mag- -- you know, you and her, but how they said it to me sounded like it was grouped like you and her. Then Janelle was like, "So" -- please don't repeat this, even Howie, "So who are you better friends with" -- no. "Who is Maggie better friends with? You or Ivette?" I was like, "I feel it's pretty equal. I was like, you know, "Maggie was really good friends with Jennifer; I'm Jennifer's partner. And Ivette was really good friends with Eric, and that's Maggie's partner." And she goes, "Well, who do you think that she would -- if she had to evict one of y'all, who do you think it would be?" And I was like, "Awwwh (in a disgusted tone)" I was like, "I wouldn't even know," and I was like, "and I would never ask her that." I was like, "That is so -- that would -- that's just horrible." I was like, "I would never put someone in that situation." And she goes -- and I was like, "Why?" I was like, "What do y'all think?" Just to kind of get what their opinion would be, and they said, "She'd evict you over Ivette." I was like, "Okay. That's interesting." And I was like, "Well, I can't sit here and tell you because I really" --
MAGGIE: They want you to turn on me.
APRIL: It doesn't matter.
MAGGIE: I know that. But that's what they're trying to do.
APRIL: And I said, "Well" --
MAGGIE: Because they'll probably tell Ivette the same thing, Howie will.
APRIL: She [Janelle] hates Ivette. And I told her -- I shouldn't always listen to Ivette, but she said, you know, "Make Janelle understand that she will not be winning the 500,000." And I was like, "I can't tell her."
MAGGIE: Ivette told you to tell her that?
APRIL: Yeah. She wanted me to bring it up to her, so -- and I was like, "Well, I can't -- I'm not going to be mean to her."
MAGGIE: I hope you didn't include me in on that one.
APRIL: No. No, no, no, no. But what I was telling her was like, "Janelle," I was like, you know, "If Howie leaves this week, which is probably going to most likely be what happens," I was like, "there will be the four of us," and I was like, "We need to all get along; we all need to pitch in; we all need to help." (NOTE: As a court reporter with a trained ear and quick fingers, somehow I missed April saying this to Janelle. Hmmm.) And then I said -- what did I say? I said, which Ivette told me to say, and I shouldn't have done, but it was something like -- it was more or less like, you know, "You know that the votes are secured," or whatever. And she goes, "I know. I've just got to decide who the f*ck I want to take out on the way down to the end." (NOTE: Again, not what I heard.) That's what she said to me. And I said, "As much as, you know, supposedly there's a 50 and then a 500," I was like, "you never know." She goes, "April, it's summer of secrets and there's a lot of things that we don't know about." She goes -- and I asked her, I was like, "Well, that one that you were going to tell me the other day that you had only told Howie," I was like, "you don't have to tell me," I was like, "but you were going to tell me. Do you want to tell me?" She goes, "No." I said, "Well, you've just been acting weird, you know, as far as you won't answer questions and stuff." She's like, "What is it going to benefit me?" And I said, "Well, it's not going to benefit you and it's not going to benefit us, but in a way it could possibly benefit you because the more you're telling people pretty much to go f*ck themselves, the less chance that you have of anything." (NOTE: The last sentence looks wrong, but this is exactly what April said, and again, something I didn't hear her say to Janelle while they were talking.) I was like, "I know you already know the votes are secured on the jury and the week that Jennifer got it, that's exactly what Jennifer did for us." Because Ivette told me to say that. And I was very, very nice. It was a very, very nice conversation.
MAGGIE: Um-hmm.
APRIL: And she said, pretty much, she's going to go down fighting and that she couldn't believe she's the one who said, "Yeah, for them" -- she said, "for them," and that's why I don't know if -- I don't really know who she was talking about. She could have been talking about Ivette because Ivette said it to Howie. It could have been misconstrued and Howie said "they," and it could have included me as well. She said, "yeah, they want me to take off Howie. Please." You know, she's like, I'm going to fight until the end." And Howie looked at me and winked. I was like, "they?" That's what I said, "they?" Because I was like what the f*ck. Don't include all of us in it. You know what I'm saying? And Howie and looked at me and went like that (winking.) Whatever that meant.
(Feeds switch to outside with Janelle and Howie outside doing laundry.) (NOTE: I have to get back to work now, but I am finally going to have a day off tomorrow. I will have more of April lying to Ivette and Maggie about the conversation she had with Howie and Janelle. Definitely check back tomorrow. I have so many good conversations to post.)
NOTE TO READERS: To those who have written messages to me: Thank you very much for the nice compliments. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have the desire to take the time to make these transcripts, but knowing that some of you really enjoy them and find them useful is what keeps me going. Thank you very much. EDITED NOTE: My deadline has been moved back to tomorrow instead of today, so I will post at least one more transcript today since I have a little extra time.
