| Proof of a higher power really does come from the strangest corners. For example, I'm certain the fact that the finale of "Big Brother 5" is only an hour long is evidence of God, or, at the very least, my own personal guardian angel. In which case: Thanks guys. Keep up the good work. View Article: Here Discuss Here: The P/X |

| Urbana's Drew Daniel will be picking up the check during what promises to be a long few days and nights of reconciliation, explanation and intoxication: Daniel, 22, took home Big Brother 5's big money — $500,000 — squeaking by Michael "Cowboy" Ellis by one vote. | And then there were two. Today, a jury of seven will decide which one gets the final axe.

| Local could win big on 'Big Brother' The jury members — Adria, Will, Natalie, Marvin, Karen and Jennifer and Diane — have telegraphed their individual points of view on CBS' live Internet feeds, which have been available to subscribers since the show began July 6. If all goes the way it appears to be heading, Michael "Cowboy" Ellis, 23, will take second and $50,000, while Daniel, 22, will head home with the money— and a lot of explaining to do. He's not the only one in the Daniel family who tried out for the show, though. His twin brother Ben also auditioned. "It's bittersweet," Ben said. "I would love to be out there, but I'm just excited that one of us did get on it." View Article Here Discuss Here: BB5 Discussion |

| He and Drew are 22-year-old identical twins, whose time apart, until recently, seems limited to the 60 seconds it took Ben to join Drew in the Springfield hospital where they were born. Ben on Drew: "He won't be a fool, but they can do lots of stuff with editing, so I'm slightly worried about that," Ben said. "Honestly, though, I don't think there will be an issue, with the way Drew is. He's just a really great guy. View Here |
