The quick-witted Tupelo, Miss., native talks about living for 11 weeks with several devout Christians, arguing about same-sex marriage with a fervent George W. Bush supporter, and how being stabbed in the back by a member of his own alliance ended his run in the game. View Article: Here Discuss Here: The P/X |

| I was in [the "Big Brother" house] for two months, and for the two months in there, all you have is these people you can't get away from. There's nowhere to run, there's nowhere to hide. Seriously. You get so sick of the surroundings, and you just want to be alone. So it was nice to be able to go to this amazing mansion in Puerto Vallarta and just totally veg for a week by myself [before other evicted houseguests arrived]. I had my music, a personal chef, a pool and the sun. View Article: Here Discuss Here: The P/X |

| BB5's Gay Guy: He's Out! Paging an optometrist, stat! Big Brother 5's token gay guy, Will Wikle, has suffered major visual trauma. First, he was seeing double (and then he was seeing red) when Project DNA backfired on him. Evil twin Adria conspired with her identical sister, Natalie, to evict the 26-year-old Mississippian registered nurse (and life of the party) from the house. Before being sequestered, Will dished his adventure with TV Guide Online, including his true opinion of those sneaky siblings. View Article: Here Discuss Here: BB5 Discussion

| 'Reality' tough, cold for Tupelo's Wikle "I'm so proud of the morals I've established and the life I lead," Wikle said. "Through Mississippi seeing me behave the way I do and being the person I am, I thought I could champion the cause for the South and make a positive role model for kids who are growing up in the same environment." Wikle's mother, Cathy Wikle of Tupelo, who has been following the series, called the episode a "nail-biter." "We thought he played the game with as much integrity as he could ... I sensed his exhaustion, both mental and physical," she said. View Article: Here Discuss Here: BB5 Discussion |

| 'Big Brother' kills Will
"She wasn't strong enough to say that she made this decision as an individual and said that Jesus spoke to her in the middle of the night in the HOH (Head of Household) room and I thought that was the saddest thing because it was so ironic that the two minorities in the house were placed on the block," said Will who revealed early on to the other houseguests that he was gay. Marvin, who was nominated alongside Will, is an African-American.

| ''Big Brother'': Will gets the boot -- and the spotlight Whoo boy, did Will just call Adria a Bible-thumping homophobe on national TV? That was a pretty volatile exit interview with the ousted NYC nurse when he said how curious it was that Adria got a divine message from Jesus in the HOH room (who knew the big guy was such a huge fan?) and next thing you know, the only gay guy gets the boot. In fact, a lot was made this week about how ''BB''’s minorities got put up for eviction. I’m not so inclined to believe Marvin got targeted for his race, but I’m willing to think homophobia played a role in Adria’s surprising decision to oust Will. | 'BB5' House Frees Willy Will is still simmering about what he sees as Adria's ultimate betrayal. It's bad enough that she looked him in the face and said she wouldn't vote him off, but she also offered a pinky swear. Silly Willy. If you don't spit on your palms and shake on it, everybody knows that a pinky swear doesn't represent a valid legal contract. Perhaps things are different in Mississippi. | Gaywatch: "Big Brother" Watching Not surprisingly, my gay guy friends who watch the show are salivating over him. But Will is more than just a pretty face. He's also an intelligent, witty person who tends to be right on the mark with his observations. When Will chats directly to the camera, I feel I have a friend in the house giving me the inside scoop. My favorite quip from him thus far was about Diane's sun worshipping: "Diane suffers from the disease that we gays know as tanorexia." View Article: Here Discuss Here: BB5 Discussion |

| From designers and decorators to ‘Big Brothers,’ in the reality television world, do audiences need to know who’s gay?
After a visit to the CBS Web site, without having seen an episode of the show, it’s clear who the gay audience should be rooting for: Will Wikle, a 26-year-old nurse from Tupelo, Miss. He lists San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, who made it possible for same-sex couples to obtain marriage licenses earlier this year, as his personal hero. His favorite movies are “Fight Club,” a homoerotic film starring Brad Pitt, and “Bring It On,” a movie about competitive cheerleading. View Article: Here Discuss Here: BB5 Disussion
