"My beef with Adria is I think she had it easier getting into the game. You know what I am saying, doing the little twist with her sister," Marvin answered. "Don't throw Bible verses on me and don't tell me you had it tough and all this sanctimonious and pompous stuff. It was just that I took issue with it and nobody else stood up to her and I wasn't going to let her run her mouth without me smacking her down so I had to do it."

Marvin disses Adria
Adria — who hasn’t made any friends in her week as Head of Household — is “a backstabber and a hypocrite” Marvin said in the privacy of the Diary Room. He also confronted her: “Did the Bible tell you to do this?” Yes, Adria admitted, her faith guides all her actions. “Jesus told you to vote off the gay dude (that’s Will) and the black dude? Conway mortician joins housemates on reality show 'Big Brother 5'
Latimer and his housemates beat out 100,000 hopefuls who auditioned for the program. His new high-profile status has spilled over to the rest of the Latimer family. Latimer's father is deceased, but his mother is thrilled with her son's appearance on the show. "We've really been sort of celebrities in the area. People have been calling us and telling us they planned to watch it and asking us questions about how he went about it," said older brother George Latimer, 39.

S.C. man scores ‘Big Brother’ success
Marvin Latimer of Conway wasn’t much of a player in the first week of “Big Brother 5” on CBS. But he will be now: The 36-year-old mortician won a competition Thursday night to become the new Head of Household. That gives Latimer the power to nominate two of the 12 remaining houseguests for eviction next week.

Latimer's family last saw him more than a week ago, when he left for the show. They had signed confidentiality agreements about his appearance and had been sworn to secrecy while Latimer was interviewing for the show earlier this year.
"People were asking us, 'Where is Marvin?' So, we had to make up stories and stuff," said George Latimer, Marvin's older brother.
"They knew it was unusual for him to be gone for two weeks. We ended up lying and telling people we didn't know because we all had to sign confidentiality agreements." View Article Here

Accepting an all-expenses paid trip to California for a shot at being on the TV game show "The Weakest Link" was a no-brainer for funeral director Marvin Latimer.
"Look, I work in the funeral business. I see death, doom and destruction every day. You think I'm going to turn down a free three-day vacation to Hollywood?" he said.
He was picked up from the Los Angeles airport in a limo, put up in a five-star hotel and shown the star-studded sights of Tinseltown in late July. View Here
