TVGO: Then where did the "Savage" nickname come from? That doesn't seem to match the personality you just described. Scott: I'm a respectful, very nice guy, but I have a wild side to me, wilder than most people have ever seen. I'm kind of an extremist. I do the most insane stuff in the world. I'm honestly hurt on a weekly basis. I do some stupid stuff, so the nickname came from that. View Article: Here Discuss Here: BB5 Discussion |

| WHERE'S THE BEEFCAKE? Jocky Scott had no game I didn't think it possible, but ''Big Brother'' convinced me otherwise: Scott is actually human. This same guy -- so repugnant for his nasty trash talk and preening in the front of the bathroom mirror -- actually had me believing he was a fairly decent person during his final moments in the house. That goodbye speech! He never wavered, he never stuttered -- just went on sweetly about the good time he had and how much he cared for Cowboy (after, of course, setting the houseguests straight that he really loved the women). Oh Scott, we hardly knew ye! View Article: Here Discuss Here: BB5 Discussion |

| Pittsburgher evicted from 'Big Brother' "Physically I'm built like a robot, and I'm mentally strong and that put an automatic target on my face," Long said in a phone interview yesterday. "The lies I brought forth were just to protect that image. ... If I portrayed myself as not needing money, why would they vote me out?" "I don't dig reality shows because I think they're boring, and I'd never watched 'Big Brother,' " he said. But Long knew Alison Irwin, who appeared in last year's edition, and her now ex-boyfriend, Donny Patrick ("The Amazing Race"). "I knew I could do it, and I could do it better." | Shadyside man doesn't regret 'Big Brother' experience "I thought I had the whole house (behind me)," Long said, as he sat in a producers' booth watching his friend Cowboy, now sleeping in the bed he once occupied. Long said his position of strength in the house -- built on brains and brawn -- made him a target. He also told lies about himself early on to try to strengthen his position. | Local man debuts tonight in 'Big Brother 5' Another local is going from the 'Burgh to the reality-show big time. Scott Long, 26, is ditching his day job as a sales representative to make his small-screen debut at 8 tonight as one of 13 featured houseguests slated for the fifth season of CBS' "Big Brother" reality show. The show airs on KDKA-TV (Channel 2). Long was not available for comment, but he appears to be a front-runner for the reality show character staple of the two-faced hottie everyone loves to hate. According to Long's "Big Brother" profile, he is accustomed to "being looked at as a threat based on looks," and feels he plans to kick competitors' butts by "being everyone's best friend and having a deceitful strategy."
