BB28 8/2 Blog: Haley’s Sugarfree Sweet Vengeance
By Nathan Vogel
Tonight’s episode started off with some serious finger pointing at Drew and Haley, who—to the opposing sides of the house—were both framed as public enemy number one. But what I want to call out from this bitchin’ montage was how Angela’s seeds continue to bear fruit. She got what she wanted with Rome, and she’s probably gonna get what she wants with Drew too. But only time will tell. Just like time told that in 1888 London, Haley won HOH this week.
We saw an awkward start this HOH. Haley sort of gets a free pass to make bad social moves (not really) with her earned safety but the house? Let’s just say some feelings should be kept to yourself. Some feelings about the place of sugar in candy, for example, Taylor. At Devens’ encouragement, Haley followed in her ally Kamu’s footsteps and gave a weird self-righteous monologue to the house. LaLa thought it was hilarious.
Speaking of, in a convo with Taylor and LaLa before the HOH comp, Mallory and Melody were talking some sugary shit about Haley. Taylor told LaLa to tattle like her BB life depended on it. And she did. And when Haley confronted Melody about it, Melody admitted to doing it! And told her that if she had won HOH, she would have put Haley on the block! I know you don’t like her Melody but come on.
Back to the side of the house that thinks Drew is a slimy snake. Again, I can only point to Angela as the owner of this move because Haley’s justifications made zero sense (to me), but she told Drew (and Barrett) that she was thinking of putting somebody up as a pawn, heavily implying that somebody would be them. Drew didn’t get it. But the guy should’ve picked a side already or at least looked like he did.
Anyways Haley put Melody, Taylor, and Drew on the block. And they’re all fired up to win the veto, of course.
If you’ve been keeping up with the feeds, you know Taylor won the veto. So, Haley’s trying to figure out a replacement. Today, it looked like she’s leaning toward Lyric.
Oh also, Dee has a power! She won the BB Bribe and hasn’t told anyone, even Devens. See, Melody, you don’t have to tell people everything.
