BB28 7/28 Blog: Mallory Chips Away at the Crossovers
By Nathan Vogel
Today, the houseguests had a mid-week tired, calm before the storm, Have-not commiserating, chatting about love lives, pissed other people are chatting about love lives, pacing the backyard kind of day. Maybe they wish they could sit down at the time travel table and skip to Thursday. Wait, if they can time travel to any time, shouldn’t someone be jailbreaking that thing over to the finale?
It’s not like no strategy talk happened today. People were still mostly looking to evict Jason, but some people, like coin-flipping Devens for example, wouldn’t mind Jason even winning the Blockbuster because… Mallory.
Mallory is probably the most anti-icons player in the house right now. And yet, Barrett has gotten really close with her. Drew seems to be leaning toward the ladies as well (thinking of Melody here, and—side note—Mallory, Melody, and Lyric can’t truthfully deny they’re in an alliance anymore because they named one today, the Giggle Girls). And Jason told LaLa today that’s he gunning for Chuk, Haley, and Kamu anyway (whether Devens intuits that or not, I don’t know). So, wrapping all this up, if Jason won the blockbuster and the vote came down to Mallory v. LaLa, Devens likes that the boys would have to show their cards. Are they with the girls or with the Crossovers? And assuming all the cards go in the right direction, a definite enemy of the icons/Red Corner side of the house would go home. Just not Kamu’s target.
But Drew and Barrett saved the icons some time and showed their cards today, campaigning for Mallory to stay to two icons themselves. And they openly admitted it wasn’t as good a move for Dee and Devens as it was for them. After Angela threw Drew under the bus last night, I’d say we can call time of death on the Crossovers.
