BB28 7/27 Blog: The Tea Party Spills Into Second Day
By Nathan Vogel
Jason couldn’t sleep last night. Yesterday he was ambushed at the Tea Party by Kamu, and he went to bed irritated but then, perhaps, inspired. He got up around 2am, grabbed a teapot and a wooden spoon, and banged the shit out of it all up around Drew and Kamu. He banged it so hard, the spoon broke.

He promised to spill the tea today, which mostly meant banging the teapot some more, yelling to Kamu that people were talking strategy. Since, to Jason, that must have been Kamu’s main gripe with how he’s been moving. I’m not sure it was the best move on Jason’s part but, honestly, he’s on his back foot. And maybe, at least the way Yash was talking, Jason fighting back in as big a way as he can, will make him the shield the “middlemen” want to keep around. Time will tell if that pitch works at all this season. It sure didn’t for Rome.
But I’m getting ahead of myself. The veto ceremony was today. Lyric took herself down, and Kamu put Jason up, teapot in hand. The drag queen is definitely Kamu’s target, but it’s pretty much out of his hands at this point. We’ll have to see how the rest of the week shakes out and how clean up from that messy Tea Party goes, not just for Jason but for every name Jason brought up.
In a break from the tension, the houseguests spent a good chunk of the night making videos (can’t really call them TikTok’s if they’re not on the app, right?). “Pass the phone to the person who could never replace Rachel Reilly”, etc. LaLa was having a great time with it, which was nice to see after the rollercoaster week she’s had—that we’ve all had. Why don’t you go relax and have some tea? Ah!
Speaking of stress, Angela’s worried because she told Kamu late in the night that Drew was targeting their Red Corner because she told Drew about the alliance and now, she’s got to cover her tracks. She corralled the icons to lie about the Crossovers. All at 2am. These people need to sleep more. And relax. Drink some tea—ah!
