BB28 9/13 Blog: Everybody Hates Drew
By Nathan Vogel
Can you believe we’re less than a month away from crowning Dee the winner of Big Brother
28? Kidding, kidding. But the Survivors were looking (and feeling) very top dog at the start of tonight’s episode. And… Drew was in the hot seat. Of course. The guy can’t win. Either he’s targeted by his own alliance despite his undying loyalty, or he’s targeted by his own alliance because he was forced to vote for one of two people in said alliance (that had already been blown up) and he chose to vote against the one that called him out as a target immediately beforehand. Also, the icons worked with Yash and Taylor to blindside F.A.P. So, we’re blindsiding people and blaming them for being blindsided now? Okay. Drew was still
cheezing about Barrett’s terrible week in the DR though. Can’t keep him down.
Melody was not cheezing. She wouldn’t high five Drew (eh, not much of a surprise there)
and was crying in the DR. She even got into it with Dee a little bit. But Drew and Barrett took
most of the heat. And it looked like the icons were legitimately locked in with Taylor and
Yash. They talked about being a final four.
Before the HOH comp, the editors also set up that Yash and Taylor wanted to blame their
blindside to Melody and Barrett on… Drew. Basically they’d say that they heard he would
violate the newbie ceasefire and target Yash, and so… bye-bye Angela?
The HOH comp was the wild west (literally!). It was that comp where you have to run around
and catch water in something—this time, a cowboy hat—and fill a container with water. Yash
wanted to win for some reason (okay, the reasons were to wash his hands of the Bribe, put
Drew on the block, and guarantee his safety), and he did win. Yeehaw!
So, the nominees were kind of a given. He couldn’t put up Dee or Devens. Why would he
put up his only true ally, Taylor (but he did check in with her since she could be a renom)?
So, Drew, Melody, and Barrett were his only real options. He cleared the air with Melody and
Barrett and told them that Drew was his target. Even Barrett said he was over Drew. Those
were the noms, done deal, and cut.
But oh boy, is the veto juicy this week! Because Drew won. And convinced Yash to throw it
to him? Some highlights from the feeds today were the houseguests talking about messages from home and Melody trying to talk Drew into using the veto on her. Looks like Drew will leave her hanging this time.
