In the beginning of tonight’s epi we are given a look back at what happened last show, a look forward of what we can expect for tonight.......and a lonely Brad coming out of his home, not knowing exactly where he stands although he is admitting he is a little nervous and excited at the same time.
We then join Chris with the bachelorettes as he tells him the usual spiel of how not everyone will get dates, the one on one dates......chance of being sent home immediately..........blah, blah, blah
Ashley H is the first one to get an individual date...........meanwhile we hear Melissa blabbing on about the amount of money she spent on dresses, the fact that she quit her job........GMAB.
Brad picks Ashley up in a neat looking convertable. As the two of them head off in the night, they are making pleasantries, until Brad pulls up to a dirt road in pitch blackness........this of course is freaking Ashley out. As they head down the driveway, Brad is telling her to get ready for a surprise......they stop the car and continue walking in on foot..... As they continue down the path, they eventually come to a stop in front of a box with a switch in it.......at this time, Brad reminds her that the card said to be prepared for a wild ride.........they count to three and flip the switch to find the lights of a carnival turn on.........out in the middle of the woods, a carnival is set up. Ashley is pleasantly surprised....... As they run through the carnival, playing the games and enjoying the rides.......Brad states in a PI of how he is impressed with her.......she is running around in a fancy dress and laughing and giggling...... It appears as they play a game, the winner decides what ride they will go on next.........the next winner goes to Brad and he chooses the next ride. In a PI, Ashley states that she feels this date was made just for her and is having a ball........As Ashley tells Brad that this is the best date that she’s ever been on.........pumping his fist.........score.....score..........
Meanwhile, back at the house.............As the ladies are talking, the next date card arrives..........Let’s Share Something From the Heart...........going on the date is: Keltie, Chantal O, Madison, Melissa, Kimberley, Marissa, Rachiel, Britt, Meghan, Emily, Stacey, Ali, Michelle, Shawntel, and Lisa. Fifteen on one.....wow. Then we get a PI from Michelle of how she expected to have the date to herself since it was her birthday......here we go with the cat claws.........yowsi.
Back at the carnival, Brad and Ashley are now in the camera booth........they took some pics just goofing off, then went back out into the carnival........during this time, Brad states in a PI of how he “feels she is the whole package, she’s intelligent, pretty, he can be himself around her.......I like this girl........I like this girl a lot.” As they get in some good solid kisses, they really look like they are connecting. His very first date and he’s having the time of his life.........as they sit down and get into some serious conversation........Ashley is the first one to open up about her growing up and how her father had problems with addiction and wasn’t there.....IMO, you could see Brad relaxing more.........When Brad asked her if her father was around at all.....Ashley stated that she has no idea of where he even is. Immediately you could see Brad relaxing in one way, nervous in another......but in general, he begins to open up himself and tells Ashley about his dad, or lack there of......Brad states that he really understands when someone says that there hasn’t been someone there for a person in their life. Ashley really opened up tonight and in turn, Brad opened up to her........one of Ashley’s final questions in the conversation was to find out if Brad came back to try to redeem himself and she is worried that he feels obligated to pick someone this time. Brad answers that he doesn’t feel the need for redemption at all, but is also very grateful for a second shot at this. At the end of their conversation, Brad gave her the rose of which she gladly accepted. As they head off for a ride on the Ferris Wheel, Brad states in a PI of how he had an incredible night, didn’t want it to end, had so many walls built up and with Ashley....all those walls came down.
Up Next............group date at the biotch corral
Before the ladies head out on their date, we see Michelle and Stacey outside having a chat and Michelle is off on a tiraid about being out with 14 other women on her birthday date........got a feeling this will be the drinking game for tonight.......see how many times she says birthday.........LOL. Okay, so now we have Michelle and Melissa going weird in their PI’s...........great start to the date........LOL.
As Brad exclaims what their date will be about, everyone seems really energetic......... In PI’s you get each girl talking about their part....how they hate / like their acts and then you get others like Michelle that is getting ticked that she has to split any of her time up with the other women........ As the ladies get together and practice, ie Chantal and Britt.......both of them seem pretty cool about it and ready.......Emily and Stacey.....they are talking about how their scene is going to go and seem cool with one another about it.........then we see Michelle.........she looks like she’s fuming.......we get another PI from her talking about how unfair, because of her birthday..........okay, that’s 3 drinks now. The skits start with Emily and Stacey and their mutual love Gustavo........As Stacey and Emily do their scene over and over.......Melissa gets the bright idea to step in herself.......wow. Finally their scene was over and cue Michelle with a PI.......She is already determined that she is the “one”. Next up is Britt and Chantal.......they bring Brad back and both make out with him on the bed........he heads out for a minute and comes back as a vampire..........Britt and Chantal were both taking him to town on the kissing, especially Britt. Cue Michelle in another PI going on once again about her birthday.......drink #4 going down the hatch. Once Brad catches wind that Michelle is off the set, he heads out to confront her on it; so through her game playing, she got what she wanted.......some quality time with Brad...........shall we say Michelle of Jake’s season with her kissing / fireworks analogy that she did in her PI. As they head off for their wrap party........in a PI, Brad states that he’s had enough drama for the day. Cue drink #5 with Michelle’s birthday PI again........ Don’t know about you guys, but I’ve had enough of the Birthday excuse for her attitude........
Melissa and Brad are the first ones to head off for their private time..........Brad then grabs Michelle for their private time and the first thing she says to him.......You have walls.........of course Brad is taken aback........he immediately tells her to ask him anything that she wants to know.....she then asks what his greatest fear.......(Here we go again), he states that he doesn’t want to be alone......(Broken record #2 for the night). Drink #6. While Brad is having his private time with Michelle.........Raichel and Melissa are duking it out in the other room.......Cat fights galore. In a PI, Chantal welcomes it and states that at the end of the day, if they get each other out, then it makes it easier for her to end up with Brad.
Meanwhile back at the house, the date card arrives.............Jackie, Let’s get our love on track..............This immediately puts Lindsay and Ashley S on edge.
Back at the pool, Brad and the ladies are now in the pool and having fun.........rose time.......Brad grabs the rose and hands it out to the birthday girl........Michelle starts gloating and showing off the rose........In a PI, she gloats about getting the rose for her birthday........drinks #7,8 down the hatch........
Next up.............Jackie’s Pretty Woman date
As Brad arrives at the mansion to pick up Jackie, he greets everyone and then the two of them escape.....as they head into Beverley Hills, they arrive at a luxurious hotel on Rodeo Drive. As they start off at the hotel spa, they get into their robes and start off their day of pampering at the spa. He then takes her to a hotel room where she opens her eyes to find a room full of dresses for her to choose from. Her day of pampering continues as she gets a makeup artist there as well as someone to do her hair.
Meanwhile.........back at the house, Emily is outside talking on the phone to her daughter. It’s very obvious of how Emily is missing her daughter and how close they are......
As Jackie arrives upstairs dressed up and ready for the town, Brad has one more surprise for her......he shows her the Neil Lane jewels that are there waiting for her to wear. As they arrive at the Hollywood Bowl, the sign has their names up in lights. As they got into some serious conversation over dinner, Brad finds out that Jackie has had 2 serious dating relationships and through college, didn’t really date anyone. Brad admits that he is worried that she might not be ready for this..........even with his worries, he still gives Jackie the rose....cautious in love as Brad calls it. Then the stage turns around and they are entertained to the band Train. As they are slow dancing, they get into some serious smooching.
Up Next.............Rose Ceremony from Biotch Hell
Brad admits in a PI that he is feeling comfortable, feeling good, feeling confident.........then he arrives at the mansion.......LOL. As he arrives, he tells the women how he feels that he is walking into a household of friends..........he wants to use the night to get to know them better and have some fun. At that moment, they all raise their glasses for a toast............WAIT.........Michelle steps forward and steals him immediately before they are even finished with their toast. It is obvious that it completely takes Brad by surprise. During their time, she immediately starts grilling him on the important things.........whether he likes Starbucks or ground coffee............really?? When they finished their time and Michelle went back to a group of ladies and admits that she asked him those questions......come on.......took them all by surprise. Emily states in a PI of how she feels Michelle is being redicilous and since she is there to fall in love, she could care less where he gets his coffee from. Next, Brad and Emily get their private time.........Emily admits to Brad that she is still somewhat private but will open up as much as she can.....he says that he’ll be patient, then gets tongue tied for words.....quite sweet actually. Bottom line, she says that she is really grateful to be there and even more grateful that it is Brad there.
Raichel and Melissa start again of how each of them are trying to be the A-biotch that neither of them are going to back down........Raichel retreats to the living room and starts talking to Ashley S. while Melissa stays out on the patio talking to the ladies there. After Melissa and Raichel confront one another once again in the living room.........Melissa retreats to the patio and waits for her time with Brad. She promptly begins telling him what happened....all the drama that she is going through and placing blame on Raichel for it. Needless to say, that private time wasn’t so pleasant for Brad. You can absolutely tell that he’s not impressed with her and has had enough........ Then he walks from the frying pan into the fire as he meets up with Raichel. You can tell that he is waaaaay over the drama that’s going on.
As everyone gathers in the living room, in walks Chris for his announcement...........Ali and Roberto are coming to lend a hand tonight. The idea of Ali and Roberto being there is that they will give him a hand to weed out the ones that aren’t there for the right reasons and help Brad by picking someone that deserves the rose. After Ali and Roberto get seated out by the fire, Michelle is the first to enter the firing squad.......Lindsay, Britt, Keltie, Stacey, Melissa is the next one up and in her PI, she states that if anyone is going to understand the position she’s in, it would be Ali....very important to get her on Melissa’s side tonight. Chantal was the next one in the hot seat.........Ali asks her, thumbs up or down about Raichel.........Chantal did a thumbs down. Chantal said that the way Raichel is going around and around creating the drama in the house......enough is enough with the drama as she says. After Chantal is done, Brad then re-enters the scene and has a chat with Roberto and Ali. Although we never actually heard the conversation between the three of them, Emily was the one awarded the rose. As Brad and her are out talking, he tells her that he feels she has an extreme amount of class and sophistication and wanted so bad to know that she was there for him and only him......when he talked to Ali and Roberto, apparently hers was one of the first names that they mentioned. After they came back inside, Chris came back to break things up...........

As Brad greeted the group again, gave his customary speech and hoped that everyone is starting to develop feelings as he is........he handed out the first rose.

My thoughts on tonight is that Chantal seemed to be the story teller of the night..........Emily sat back and watched everything and took her private time with Brad very seriously.........Ashley H and Brad definitely had a great connection at the carnival..........Britt went on about being shy, but in her scene, she came off as a mountain lion, Michelle came across as the whiney attention seeker............
Guess we’ll see what happens next week when Emily gets her one on one date, Ashley S and Brad are able to drop into the recording studio, and the famous group date once again..........Will Emily be able to tell Brad her past??
