BB28 8/24 Blog: Party’s Over for the Mosh Pit

Drew tried another little push this morning, a tickle of a comment to save Mallory from the
block, but Dee and Devens had their minds made up. Why? Because mommy and daddy
said so.
Dee checked in with Barrett and then chatted with Devens and nothing changed. The
houseguests paced, sat around, did make up, and waited for what felt like the inevitable.
LaLa took herself off the block, and Dee put Mallory up. A moment of silence for the Mosh
Pit and Devens’ “game-winning move.”
The mood felt pretty deflated afterward, except maybe for when Mallory punched a pillow
with Dee’s name on it. F.A.P. commiserated. But Barrett and Drew’s poker faces seem to be
convincing Dee and Devens that they understand why things have to be this way.
The icons are poised to completely dropkick the Mosh Pit, and probably the Crossovers (but
that one unintentionally), in favor of their sworn enemies from last week. Between their deal
with Yash, keeping Haley safe, plan to target Mallory, and Devens’ chat with LaLa about
working together tonight, I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before they fully bring Taylor into
some anti-Mosh-Pit (Ballroom?) alliance. I guess it’s a flex if you can say that you were
doing so well that you had to blow up your own game? Or maybe they can flip-flop all the
way to the end, what do I know?
But the house is wary of them. Mallory and Melody are definitely upset. Yash talked about
laying low this week and said he thinks the target is Taylor. I think F.A.P. hopes the same but
are bracing for what probably seems both impossible and inevitable, Dee and Devens’ true
plan: giving Mallory the boot. Melody wants to make sure her girl has the numbers in case.
And the campaign season for week seven begins.
