BB28 9/15 Blog: Another Sleepy Day but at Least
Barrett Got His Clothes Back
By Nathan Vogel
People slept in and mostly took it easy today. At least, I didn’t catch a ton of game talk.
Barrett did give an awkward pitch to Devens in the afternoon. The convo mostly centered
around how trying to pitch to him was awkward—awkward given the recent history of Barrett
betraying Devens and putting him on the block last week. But Barrett suggested that he
could be a shield for the Survivors. And that he could go after other people. Devens basically said, “I’ll think about it.” They referenced a cathartic talk they must’ve had last night and how Barrett appreciated it.
But the day perked up. Barrett got his clothes back! (They hadn’t been returned since his
HOH. Crazy.) He was very happy about that. And dinner (or one of them) turned into a mini Thanksgiving. The houseguests talked about what a blessing it was to have made it this far. Then they started drinking—and content creating when they got a phone that they were also very happy about.
Drew and Yash continued to celebrate that people were buying their veto lie: that they were
fighting instead of negotiating at the end of the comp. Taylor and Dee were reminiscing
about it earlier in the day. Drew said he was down to go all the way with Yash. But their
convo was cut off when they ran out to film a video. Kids and their phones!
All in all, it seemed like a chill day without much drama. I guess we all need days like that.
Before bed, Melody told Drew she was worried about the votes though. So, we’ll see if
tomorrow the houseguests wake up with a little more urgency to talk game or not. But
tonight, it was lights out pretty early.
