BB28 9/28 Blog: The Days Are Long But the Summer Is Short

Can I call today a lazy day? Things are just so different when there’s only three people left
and all the game talk there is to be had has pretty much already been had. Drew gave us a little update from last night: that Devens and Taylor were bickering (playing fast and loose there Devens!). Drew said his best shot at winning is Taylor winning the final part of the HOH and taking him. And, well, yes of course. You see what I mean? Not too many ways to turn the game on its head here. Or, at least, the two deciding players are reluctant to do so because it wouldn’t make sense.
Drew and Devens hung out a ton. They did some studying, walked laps of the backyard in
the morning, got up to some corn hole in the afternoon, pool at night. Taylor slept and
studied the day away in her pod. I think she officially got out of bed around dinner time. I’m
jealous. Drew and Devens definitely rested too, just on the backyard couches and hammock instead of their beds. And it is pretty toasty in California, even in this alleged autumn, so… I’m not jealous.
After sunset, the final three hung out together outside for a bit, chatted about the summer:
Dee’s funny lines, the group dap. Eventually, the boys stepped away and Taylor was called
to the DR. They’re living a pretty monastic life: studying, sleeping, getting called to a reality
tv confessional. Hey, some monastery somewhere could have one of those.
The three found their way back outside over the course of the night. Apparently, Taylor said
she hates them to Drew’s face last night. (Later today said who could say anything bad
about Devens?) It’s her birthday tomorrow, and they wondered if they should decorate or
not. Drew hung out with her until he went to bed, while Devens cam talked about how close
to the end they were and did laundry.
At midnight, Drew and Devens sang happy birthday to Taylor. Taylor stayed up late taking
out her extensions, studying, and talking about what she’d want to do after the show. She
also tried to give 28 reasons she’s awesome for her 28th birthday. Then BB said lights out.
