Big Brother 28 Update: Dee Leaves and Taylor Takes Control
Thursday’s Big Brother began with four players, two Survivors, one decisive veto, and enough time-travel toilets to make viewers question CBS’s insurance coverage.
After Melody’s eviction, Dee proposed that the women work together, while Drew and Devens discussed a Final Two neither fully trusted. Every promise came with an invisible asterisk and a Diary Room contradiction.
The Final Four HOH sent players into a vampire-themed future to identify missing houseguests in montages and assemble their faces as puzzles. Dee fell first. Taylor defeated Drew, secured Final Three, and nominated Drew and Dee. The ceremony was decorative because the veto winner would control the eviction.
The jury segment brought Barrett and Yash to LaLa and Angela. Yash admitted Drew’s competition résumé might earn his vote. Apparently, betrayal grows more impressive with snacks and distance.
Enzo hosted the final veto at Meow Meow Labs, where contestants dated past events and locked answers by sitting on toilets. Dee and Devens were eliminated, then Drew defeated Taylor. He saved himself and became the only voter.
Dee warned that Devens would win if Drew kept him. Devens argued loyalty mattered. Drew looked ill, then evicted Dee. Outside, she called it a mistake, although she admitted she would have evicted him. Big Brother friendship remains beautiful, provided nobody examines it.
That left Taylor, Drew, and Devens as the Final Three. The feeds returned after Part One of the final HOH, which Taylor won. Drew and Devens must now face each other in Part Two, while Taylor waits for finale night with safety, momentum, and a front-row seat to the consequences of Drew’s decision.
At 2:07 a.m., Taylor congratulated Drew on his game and advised him to “own” evicting Devens if he gets the chance. Drew later admitted he might regret keeping Devens if he loses Part Two, especially because he believed he could have beaten Dee in it. Nothing says confidence like discovering the strategic flaw immediately after the door locks behind your opponent.
They compared themselves to last season’s Vince and Ashley, with Devens cast as Morgan, conveniently asleep in the Have-Not room. They debated jury votes, revisited old betrayals, and argued over whether Yash threw competitions. Taylor also performed relationship counseling. She called Drew and Melody lovebirds, told him to send Melody flowers, and dismissed his concern that Melody is two years older by noting her own mother is older than her father.
Taylor confessed she once considered Yash attractive but ultimately found him “too brother coded,” a phrase capable of ending a showmance more efficiently than any veto.
At 2:39, Big Brother called Taylor to the Diary Room and instructed her to put on makeup. She complied, danced in the bathroom, and announced she was the only girl left and “a lady.”
Taylor already won Part One. Drew must survive Part Two. Devens must hope loyalty remains more persuasive than math. The finale is approaching, and everyone is finally counting the votes they spent all summer pretending not to need.
