BB28 9/22 Blog: It’s Official, Only One Survivor Is Surviving to Finale Night

After many wake up announcements from Big Brother, the houseguests got to it this
morning. With the nominees set (Dee and Drew), that meant playing the veto. It sounds like
it was a BB28 trivia quiz based on pictures, the kind of comp houseguests study for, and...
Drew won.
Survivor fans, time to clutch your pearls—er, immunity necklaces. Despite their fantastic
social game (I am not an icon hater, sorry not sorry), there’s no more alliances to flip,
nowhere to redirect this vote. Either Dee or Devens is off to jury on Thursday and the two of them were definitely feeling the weight of that. Nonetheless, they resolved in cam talks to convince Drew to take themselves to final three. And yeah, obviously, by telling
Drew anything under the sun that they think will get him to save them, whether it’s true or
not.
Taylor seems squarely on Dee’s side but also thinks that if Drew takes out Devens, he’ll win
the game, done deal. At least, that’s what she told Dee.
The icons started floating their arguments to Drew but left things open-ended for the days to
come. I think they’re weary of being too pushy with the guy they’ve been pushing around all
summer. Dee said Devens was a lock to win. He said the same about her if she was next to
Drew.
At night, Taylor talked with Drew and told him that she thought evicting Devens would be a
game-winning move but that she’d understand if for personal reasons he didn’t want to do
that. And I think that’s what’s in the air, some prevailing sense that Drew will pick his “dad,”
even though he says he’s not sure. Dee isn’t counting herself out but said it pissed her off to
see Devens’ (probably a little contrived) confidence walking around.
Nonetheless, she told us that she’d lie in the jury house (can she? I guess?) and move votes for Devens.
Before bed, the Survivors commiserated. Like their time on Survivor 50, it’s the
end of an era.
