Big Brother Week 5: LaLa Goes History-Maker, Angela Hits the Floor, and Two Grown Women Get Tied Together with a Vine

Author: Peter

LaLa didn’t waste a single second of her hard-earned power. The woman survived an hour and a half on the Wall at 58 years old, and she came out swinging.

Her original gut plan was Barrett, Drew, and Kamu, but after a full day of one-on-ones, that plan did not a complete 180. The final nominations were Haley, Barrett, and Chuk, all three of them on the block for the very first time this season.

And Haley? LaLa made zero effort to hide it. She’s the target, full stop, and probably payback for a week of chaotic HOH-ing that annoyed everyone within a fifty-foot radius.

But the moment of the day, hands down, was Angela. When LaLa told her Haley was the target, Angela dropped to her knees, wrapped herself around LaLa’s legs, and yelled “I want it, Lala! Do you know how much I want that?”

I need you to sit with that image for a second. A grown woman on the floor, hugging another grown woman’s legs, over an eviction target. That was so unhinged.

Kamu, meanwhile, was floated as a possible nominee too, but he pulled off a full Houdini act. One strategy meeting with LaLa and suddenly his name’s completely off the table. The man could talk his way out of a paper bag at this point.

Behind the scenes, though, this wasn’t just LaLa doing her own thing. Dee, Devens, Taylor, and Angela, were quietly steering the whole plan the entire day, coaching LaLa’s meetings, managing the messaging, and even plotting cover stories to keep Kamu and Chuk in the dark about what was really happening.

Chuk spent a chunk of the day going full detective, trying to figure out who flipped the vote against Lyric, and honestly, respect. He wasn’t wrong to be suspicious. Angela eventually cracked and admitted to LaLa she’d lied about her vote. The guilt was visibly eating her alive.

And Haley handled being nominated with the emotional maturity of someone auditioning for a soap opera, repeatedly announcing she’s fine going home “while my dignity and character are still intact.”

Ma’am. Nobody asked.

Oh, and because Big Brother never lets a day go by without a punishment, Mallory won this round’s Time Capsule vote and landed the classic Adam and Eve twist. She’ll be tethered to Melody by a literal vine for 48 straight hours.

Two people, one leash, zero personal space. Send thoughts and prayers.

Veto’s up next, and with Haley plotting to win it just to sit on it, this week is far from over.
