BB28 8/10 Blog: Kamu Cuts Ties with the Veto and the House Thinks Ahead
By Nathan Vogel
For the first time this summer, the veto was not used. Kamu broke the news to Haley and Chuk pre-ceremony, so it shouldn’t have come as a surprise. Maybe to Barrett? But he’s gotta be feeling as safe as a pawn can feel right now. Plenty of downtime for the houseguests to change their minds about him before Thursday, but that’d be an even crazier turn of events than last week.
Mallory seems to get really creative when she’s not in danger. Today, she wrote a song. She also came up with a long joke about using the time travel dining table to visit October. She didn’t mention anything about winning Big Brother, but apparently she is queen of the universe or something.
Kamu’s move gave people the confidence to reevaluate their own relationships and everyone is thinking ahead, side-eyeing, and pranking sleepy allies.
Dee, Devens, Drew, and Barrett caught up with each other. Between Haley and Chuk, the icons don’t have much of a preference toward who goes and see either one leaving as a win. Drew tried to weigh the pros and cons (Haley’s better at comps, Chuk’s more connected), but the hair-splitting didn’t catch much steam. They talked about targets for next week instead but kept getting interrupted by one of them, Yash, coming into the room.
A couple minutes later Drew and Barrett listened in as LaLa, Melody, and Mallory talked about taking out the icons next. They want at least two gone before jury. Top of the list? The power-strapped, completely safe Devens.
Yash showed up then too and everyone talked about liking each other.
Taylor mapped out something with Devens and Kamu. Devens and Dee talked about positioning. Everybody seems to be thinking about where they are and what the future holds—everyone except Haley and Chuk who seem paralyzed by the block.
