BB28 8/11 Blog: The Houseguests Have Mentally Moved on to Next Week
By Nathan Vogel
Well, it didn’t take long for word to get back to the icons about last night’s whine time. Barrett and Drew got all three of them up to speed at various points throughout the day, and the icons were basically like “game on” to LaLa and Yash’s planned attacks. The Crossovers’ targets for the next couple weeks seem to be Kamu, Yash, Taylor, and LaLa. According to Drew, Mallory and Melody are with them, at least when it comes to Kamu.
But Taylor was still trying to solidify things with Devens (and Kamu and Yash). Everyone says they’re on board with the proposed alliance (of course). We’ll see how things playout, but I don’t have high hopes. Most of them are either allied with people directly targeting supposed alliance members or targeting them themselves. A “keep your enemies” close situation, perhaps?
It’s neat to see how up-front Taylor and LaLa are with each other about the icons they want to keep around (LaLa likes Angela, Taylor likes Devens). That leaves Dee as a compromised target. Dee was not sweating the renewed attention on the icons though. She seemed excited.
Everyone was hashing out their lists of who should go next. Even Haley and Chuk, who continued to whine about their fate but haven’t done an ounce of campaigning (as far as I know). Nonetheless, they were plotting their revenge. It’s like someone cast a spell on them to make them even more out of touch with the game than they already were.
By the way, Mallory is a Montessori teacher’s star pupil because she was back at the imaginative play again today, making up games left and right. The houseguests were on a plane. They were in a taxi. On a bus tour. What imaginary vehicle will they board tomorrow?
In terms of this week’s eviction, I don’t want to speak too soon like last week, but it seems like the majority would prefer if Chuk goes. But it’s not like anyone’s fighting for Haley to stay either. Even herself.
