Big Brother Season 28: The 1,000th Episode is an Elimination for the Ages

Author: Peter

A thousand episodes in, and this show still knows how to stick the landing.

Last night opened with the Block Buster. Haley literally demolished the field.

That left Chuk and Barrett on the block.

But as usual, Dee and Devens were pulling the strings behind the scenes. They already decided that Chuk had become too sharp a strategic threat and, frankly, too resentful of them to keep around, while Barrett’s a much easier shield to control.

The vote landed 8-1, Chuk evicted.

Chuk, for his part, didn’t go quietly into the night. He clocked his fate the second Haley won safety, walked out without saying goodbye to several people, and used his exit interview to directly call out Devens and Dee as the true puppet masters running the house.

Honestly, he’s not wrong.

Once the feeds came back, the fallout was immediate. Haley and Angela finally sat down and hashed out their feud, landing somewhere between “truce” and “we’ll see.”

And then the actual HOH competition happened, and Yash came out on top. He wasted no time getting to work overnight, floating Angela, Dee, and Haley as his likely targets. He’s suspicious that Dee and Devens have been quietly protecting Haley the whole time.

As for Dee, she seemed suspiciously unbothered by the entire thing, which has Barrett wondering out loud if she’s sitting on a power nobody knows about.

Nine houseguests remain, and the veterans are still running this house. Let’s see if Yash can actually be the one to change that.
