Big Brother Week 6: Angela Wants Someone to Feel Her Heart Rate, Drew Gets Cornered in the Shower
Friday in the Big Brother house started with drama before I even had my coffee in hand.
The morning kicked of with a full blowout between LaLa and Haley, spilling over from tension the night before.
Haley straight-up called LaLa a bully. LaLa fired back with “I’m definitely not a bully, you’re the bully!” and things nearly escalated to a full house meeting before fizzling out. LaLa spent the rest of the day on a guilt-driven apology tour, at one point cornering Drew in the shower, yes, you read that right, just to convince him she’s not a mean person.
Dude was just trying to rinse off.
Then came the real business. Yash locked in his nominations: Haley, Angela, and Dee, with Angela as his actual target. And Dee, sensing danger, pulled out the big guns.
She activated her secret BB Bribe power, pulled Yash aside in tears, and offered him $5,000 in cash to take her off the block.
Yash said no. Just, flatly, no.
I respect the willpower, because turning down free money mid-conversation with a crying Survivor winner takes a nerve.
Angela did not handle her nomination gracefully. She spiralled hard in the hot tub, begging Taylor to somehow talk Yash out of it. Then she found Kamu and asked him to physically feel her chest to confirm how fast her heart was racing.
I choked on my water.
Elsewhere, Melody’s stuck with this round’s Time Capsule punishment. She’s now the “Lord of the Latrine,” which means she has to announce and supervise literally every bathroom trip in the house for the week.
Someone give this woman a raise.
Behind the scenes, the guys, Yash, Kamu, and Devens or Drew (depending on who you ask), have been quietly leaning on their alliance, the Bromuda Triangle, to keep the block women-only and protect each other from targeting.
As for Dee, you just know she won’t stop scheming just because her bribe got rejected. She’s already floated the idea of throwing Veto to Angela and letting Devens’ Diamond Veto do the rest.
So, heading into the weekend, we have three women on the block, one rejected bribe, and a house that’s about ten minutes from combusting entirely.
