BB28 8/18 Blog: Mallory and Melody Find
Themselves in the Middle of the Game’s Biggest
Move Yet

If yesterday was the party, today was the hangover. People spent the day going, “Wait, what
happened yesterday?”; “Wait, am I in the fake alliance?”; and “Wait, the block is already set,
let me start some beef.”
Yash tried to salvage his HOH by pushing for the middle (Melody, Mallory, Drew, and Barrett) to vote out anyone but Kamu. Everyone agreed that Kamu’s a huge threat, and certain people would say to other certain people that they’d have to take the shot if they got the chance. But behind closed doors, Melody and Mallory were getting cold feet concerning the Moshpit, and Yash didn’t want to give the icons what they wanted.
He tried working Dee’s power to his advantage, flouting how he turned down money to
protect the middle. So, time to return the favor and vote his way, he said. Melody was like
“Yeah, bro.” But earlier Mallory tried to convince Yash that Kamu was too good a target to
pass up. The girls find themselves in the most influential spot of the week, caught between
the Crossovers and the rest of the house, and, unlike yesterday, it feels like they could go
either way.
Drew and Barrett are really trying to keep the girls locked in though. Long term, Drew made
the point to Melody that they’d be four to three with the icons at the end. Numbers-wise, it’s
a better move for sure. But Melody and Mallory are thinking the obvious, “We are on the
bottom of this moshpit.” Not a place you want to be.
Plus Melody and Mallory found out that Drew and Barrett were working with the icons this
whole time, and that took the vibe down. Plus, LaLa got in a tiff with Angela. Or,
according to Angela, she didn’t. But that’s how the house sees it. And Taylor’s mad at LaLa
about it, or maybe Dee. Honestly, they lost me with that one. But it’s getting messy out here.
And as the pressure mounts and the last two Giggle Girls piece the house’s shifting tensions
together, we could be in for an icons blindside.
