Love him or love bacon, Adam was a mini, albeit constant, force to be reckoned with this summer in the Big Brother house. Fans and former BB houseguests may debate his gameplay as hard as they debate or praise Shelly's but there is no denying that he came into the house to play and play he did. No, he didn't make the big moves or the grand speeches but I have never seen any Big Brother player shut down the begging the way he could. Even Kalia was rendered speechless and outraged with his noncommittal denial of her demands.

Maybe the power went to his head, gee, we've never seen that happen before and maybe he did overestimate his funny factor but gee, we've never seen that before either. If the diary room wasn't constantly blowing smoke up the houseguests arses during the last 3 weeks they would have to cancel the feeds. Or tell everyone to wear black and pretend the Big Brother house is a goth club. Bored, freaked out and depressed is not fun to watch, so let BB pump them up as much as possible, fans & former HG's are ready to pop those ego bubbles faster than you can say Tori!

So, who knew a game as old as Big Brother could learn some new tricks? Adam came in with a game plan and played BB with all his heart. And just like that other famous guy from Hoboken, Adam did it HIS WAY.

We got a chance to talk to him after the finale and to talk to him is to love him. Truly. He is something that is rarely seen on Big Brother, he is just a good guy and this is what he had to say to Jokers Updates.

JokersUpdates.com: Adam, congratulations on making it to the Final 3, that is a big accomplishment. You have many fans on Jokers Updates and we hope to see you on your fan page there. We don't have a lot of time so I am just going to sling some questions at you, ok?

Adam: lay it on me!


JokersUpdates.com: At the beginning of the game Jeff & Brendon were very crude when joking around with you, but you handled it very well. Was that something that happened while ED was in the house or how did it start & why were you so willing to put up with it?

Adam: Ya know what, what Jeff & Brendon said to me was nothing compared to what my friends & I say to each other, ok, so ya know, I have thick skin. Somebody once told me, 'hey if I'm making fun of you that means I like you, if I didn't like you I wouldn't even be talking to you, so hey! That house gets way too tense, too much emotion going on to not let off steam, hey ya know what to be the brunt of a joke cuz ya know what, it was fun, it was funny, I fed into it, I even went along with it myself, eventually I started to come around to making fun of them as well. Brendon talked a lot of smack to me but who ate more hot dogs in 4 minutes, huh? ME!


JokersUpdates.com: Shar, Philo1 & many others asked; during the last two days of live feeds, something seemed to happen that we didn't get to see and suddenly you were furious with Rachel. What happened and why were you so angry with her and are you still angry with her?

Adam: I will tell you exactly what happened. Um, my biggest complaint about this season, as far as it went is how hard I worked and how much I gave up this summer to be on the show and for Rachel to just sit there and tell me that she gave up just as much as me going into this season, really upset me. I have a friend who is a school teacher and has the entire summer off and I could not see my girlfriend all summer.

Rachel walked into the house with her fiancee. He left. He came back, she was with her fiancee. I have a job I've been at for six years, there's been downsizing at my job and I walked away from that job for this show with the hopes that I would still have a job when I came back. I walked away from a job and a career at 40 years old, she did not have a job and she told me, 'well I didn't know whether I should get a job or not' and for her to tell me that she gave up a lot this summer, I'm sorry (that angered me) and on top of that, she and Brendon were not paying rent anywhere, while I was still paying rent at my apartment.

So don't tell me you gave up just as much as ME! You might have given up a lot last summer to get on the show but to tell me you gave up as much as me.........she did not understand that she came into this house with her fiancee, free rent while I'm still paying rent at my house, so, the fact that I had given her so many motivational speeches and for her to say she gave up just as much as me, that hurt and it did also effect my final decision.

And these are things that I can look into the mirror and say, it did upset me, it did bother me but you know what, there's a lot bigger things in life. I let it bother me that day and I pretty much decided if Rachel didn't take me to the final 2, I probably would not vote for her.


JokersUpdates.com: You seemed to have two very different persona's inside the Big Brother house; the hardcore, mosh pit metal-head and the appletini loving hardcore 90210 fan. Do you think it might have worked better for you to pick one of those & stick with it?

Adam: I'm a heavy-metal Teddy Bear! No, no I think my well rounded personality let me get along with the guys and get along with the girls. Um, ya know, I think I was one of the more popular houseguests in the house, whether I was seen as popular outside of the house, I don't know, don't care.


JokersUpdates.com: Adam, outside of the house the world is a bizarre place. You have a great fan base.

Adam: I've been told I have haters.


JokersUpdates.com: I've never seen a Big Brother that didn't. I am not always gracious and kind to houseguests. Emotions run high on both sides of the fence in this game so just Ignore them. They (haters) don't need to exist in your world.

Adam: They're ok, they don't know what I had to go through, again, that's why having that split personality, the Teddy bear part and the sensitive side, in my real life helps. Most of my best friends are girls so I understand.


JokersUpdates.com: What are your plans for your elf costume? Will you be doing any stage diving or crowd surfing in that outfit?

Adam: That may or may not happen. I just want to get to a metal show, fast, I already know there are some requests from friends to put the Elf suit on at certain points, so I am sure, when I am back into my regular life, I am sure it is the right time, I'll show up at one of my metal shows wearing the Elf costume. Whether or not I have enough alcoholic beverages to get up there and do some stage diving............hey ya know what? I hung on a banana, I hung on a wall and stood on a beater so stage diving? No problem! Stage diving in an Elf costume? That's no problem either!


JokersUpdates.com: You said that the guys in a metal mosh pit would reach in & pick up anyone that had fallen which seems like a much kinder and gentler mosh pit from the true punk pits, so what's up with metal-heads being so dainty?

Adam: Hey, wait, I always say Heavy Metal Fans are the best fans in the world and they're the worst fans in the world. I remember shows back when I first started getting into the scene where you had half heavy-metal-skinheads and you had the metal-heads. There were violent pits, that is when fights broke out, because of my size people didn't mess with me, but now, if you're in the pit and you knock someone down, you help them up and then you knock 'em right back down and help 'em right back up and knock 'em right back down! That's the way we roll!


JokersUpdates.com: Last nite you said your vote for Porsche was a sympathy vote because you saw that Shelly voted for Rachel. Didn't you just feel closer to Porsche all season & really just want to vote for her no matter what?

Adam: You know what? I really did form a friendship with Porsche, I thought she definitely did get a bad rap the first week and I felt bad I didn't vote for her first week, Keith, myself and Lawon, I thought the four of us were tight that first week and I did think Porsche got a bum rap and everybody said she sat around and did nothing but they gave her a Gold Key TO sit around and do nothing, so she talked to everyone and stayed low key.

So, I felt bad, unfortunately there were times in the game when we were not alone but we always did motivate each other and pump each other up and when I could not use the OTEV veto on her that I won, that did hurt me because I knew that I had given my word to her and I was about to break my word and she asked me fair and square if I was going to use it on her and I told her 'win it yourself'!


JokersUpdates.com: Did you know you blew your game up when you tossed out your goggles during the underwater comp or was that only clear after the fact and are those 500 thousand dollar goggles to you now?

Adam: Those are not 500 thousand dollar goggles. Porsche beat me in more time than it took me to get in and out of the pool. What did cost me in that challenge was the fact that I am still not in the best of condition and I'm a smoker and my holding my breath was not good. Ya know what, Porsche killed it. If I had another six months to quit smoking, I might have killed it even more.

JokersUpdates.com: Adam it was great to watch you this summer and to talk to you now.

Adam: I appreciate the Updates, I appreciate Jokers, even though my favorite wasn't Jokers.

JokersUpdates.com: Hamsterwatch loved all the shout-outs.

Adam: Yeah, even though all the houseguests started thinking I was Dingo!

JokersUpdates.com: Yes, she had to keep posting that she was NOT Adam and Adam was not she.

Adam: When you're inside the house you cannot tell what's going on in the outside world, I didn't even know there was football again until last night, but I have definitely been to Jokers Updates and been there a lot.

JokersUpdates.com: You have a good core group of fans but you do have your haters.

Adam: That's ok, they want to judge someone they don't know and don't know what it's like being in here and they want to judge what they see but they do not know what it's like, so....


JokersUpdates.com: That brings me to my last question, you have talked a lot about All-Stars and is that something you would seriously consider or was it just adrenaline pumping last nite? Why would a semi-sane person such as yourself, ever go back in that house? What drives you & what makes you love the BB enough to try to go back in that house?

Adam: You know what, if the opportunity came up and I was in a position in my life where it made sense to do it, I would do it! I had so much fun, uh, I do think that I kept my sanity where a lot of people didn't. I think I knew going into the house, I had the physical and mental wear-with-all to withstand that kind of mental and emotional stress. I've lived through two really tragic deaths in my life, my Mother and Father both passed away from bad illnesses.

JokersUpdates.com: I am sorry for your loss.

Adam: Thank you, I got through both of them and I know what is really important in life and no matter what happened in that house, it was a game, it was an opportunity but it was a game! I'll walk out of that house the same guy that walked in, which is if you noticed, I wore the exact same outfit when I left that house as when I walked in to show I was the same guy walking out and walking in. Just with more memories and more friends.

JokersUpdates.com: Yeah, I didn't notice it was the same shirt you wore going in but I did notice the sexist flapper girl shirt on TV while you talked to Julie Chen (laughing, teasing him).

Adam: I don't think it's a sexist shirt!

JokersUpdates.com: ADAM!

Adam: I could not wear my metal shirts, so I had to wear something that showed my personality, showed my metal. Hey, I wear that shirt when I go out, I do not think it's sexist, I think it's everywhere.

JokersUpdates.com: Ok, I'll give you that, I guess we've come a long way where 'flapper girl' is just flapper girl. Oy vey.

Adam: When you're driving up the highway, you see a hundred of them a day.

JokersUpdates.com: Yeah and that personally bugs me but enough about me a lot. Ok, I'm old skool so cut me some slack!

Adam: (laughter) OK, High Five!

JokersUpdates.com: Ok, my last last question because we have exactly a minute and ten seconds, for the Jokers Updates people that do love you and they are fierce, will you keep us posted on your wedding plans with Fara and just check in with us every once-in-awhile?

Adam: I sure will. I cannot create my own Twitter account until after this baseball season because of a bet.

JokersUpdates.com: Ok, how funny is that!?!?

Adam: But, when I have my own Big Brother account I will let Jokers Updates know so you can all follow me on Twitter as well as MySpace. I know I have the page on Jokers but I am a control freak and I can control the content and create my own.

JokersUpdates.com: I don't know if that is controlling or just smart. Some people do lose it in the Big Brother house, I wouldn't even go near the place but I know I speak for Jokers when I say we love and respect everyone that goes in there to entertain us all summer. You did a good job not revealing any gory details about your life and retaining your sanity, so kudos.

Adam: Well, I want to thank you and Jokers and all of the Big Brother fans for their dedication and hard work for the show. I love the show, other people love the show, so, thanks.

I could kick myself for not asking him what the baseball bet was about but maybe he will come tell us one day. Adam is an affable guy and what you see is what you get. As Dani said, he may have created a whole new way of playing the Big Brother game by "piggybacking" but it clearly worked!

Adam made it to Final 3 and if not for a nasty cigarette addiction, he might have won the whole ball game! Let that be a lesson to you kids at home and you, Jeff!

He was fun, he was Cruddy, he was Philip and he got to meet Tori Spelling. Not a bad way to spend the summer for a guy from Hoboken. Keep dreaming big Adam, clearly some dreams do come true!
